I never felt so relaxed and comfortable during a procedure until I came to his office. He has the latest digital equipment, there is a monitor in front of you and you can see everything they are doing. His office also takes a digital scan of the mouth using a 3D oral camera, if you need a crown. The computer suggests the ideal dimensions of the needed crown. The digital information is sent to a "milling" machine that carves the crown out of a ceramic porcelain block, ready to be bonded to the your tooth. The entire process takes less than three hours. You do NOT have to go back to get re-sized, it is an exact match! It is a amazing, you don't even notice a different in your bite when you leave because you leave with a matching NEW tooth. I have never been a fan of having dental work done but I am here to tell I no longer have any fears. I highly recommend his office and I very rarely put in reviews. I want to try and help people who have anxiety about having dental work done.

Just a thought. Anyway, Renaissance Dental Studio was recommended to me by my mother of all people. I haven't been to the dentist in... 5 years? It's not because I have some irrational fear of dentists or something, it was more because of... Well, let's just say stuff happens, and I wasn't able to for a while. As far as insurance is concerned, I don't know all the insurance types that are accepted but from personal experience, I can tell you that Guardian is accepted. So considering it had been half a decade, I was nervous about the imminent pain. Actually, I was more nervous about what kind of damage I had done to my teeth since my last visit (constantly eating ice, all those sugary snacks, not flossing as often as I should, etc.) that would now require additional work on their part, and maybe additional money on my part. But all the worry was for naught. The hygienist, while not being a talkative person, was a lovely lady (in personality and facial proportions), and she was incredibly gentle despite the fact that her job basically involved gouging/stabbing/clawing at my teeth with her sharp, pointy, pain sticks. I didn't mind that she wasn't much of a talker, because she had the TV on and I watched Ellen, and that kept me distracted and entertained. The dentist, Dr. Prince, was an amiable man, and he thanked me for making his job easier because my teeth were perfect (whatwhat?!). And then he complimented me further by asking me if I ever had orthodontics. You get bonus points, Dr. Prince. So the fear of my visit turning into the dental equivalence of Jigsaw mutilating his victims[2] was relieved, and the whole experience was pleasant enough that I almost didn't mind that Dr. Prince had his fingers all inside my mouth without even taking me out on a couple of dates first. I chose to get a traditional upper denture and a permanent lower denture secured with 4 implants. He recommended Dr Tracy McIntire whom I reviewed in a separate Yelp space. My surgery was less than a week ago and I am ecstatic over the results. Gone are my smelly rotten stubs and in its place are a beautiful full set of teeth. My discomfort level is minimal. I returned to Dr Swan's office jubilant and grateful. I told them that I should've had these procedures 20 years. But I've changed my mind. I was extremely nervous about a procedure and since he doesn't offer gas to calm me he did give me a prescription just for the day of. He also knew I would be in some pain after and gave me a small prescription for that. I appreciate a person who doesn't abuse his powers. His staff is also amazing. They literally all have smiles when they greet you. I am comfortable with any one of them assisting me.
