When we showed up to my husband's appointment they had failed to inform us that they canceled his appointment, after confirming with us the day before! He works out of state and he took days off for this. The receptionist was extremely rude with him saying "oh well" while my husband was in extreme pain. I had to schedule a visit for a tooth that I neglected for too long, resulting in an extensive amount of pain. Their receptionist got me in same day via phone call. Upon arrival I was greeted by very kind staff members and shortly after getting checked in, and X-rays I was seen by the doctor. He immediately greeted me with compassion regarding my tooth pain and even pushed around his schedule to make sure I was taken care of (NEXT DAY) to better suit my work schedule. This company usess a "used car salesman" approach to doing business. They will accomodate any credit score as long as you sign an application so they can get their money upfront. I went in for a severe tooth ache. The first dentist recommended a root canal and new crown($1500 +/-) This is when they got me approved thru Care Credit to absorb the cost of that procedure. When I returned for the procedure they decided an extraction and implant would work better, BUT I would need a bone graft. $1500 becomes $2100 only to find out they used all of the credit available for a 2-visit "deep cleaning", therefore I would need to pay for the implant out of pocket. It doesn't end here. I started a new job and informed Aspen Dental that I had Dental insurance so they conveniently enrolled me in a Perio maintenance program. They scheduled more trays and another cleaning on January 3 and decided my insurance did not cover their services. Wallah...another $500. Please be warned that this operation is a total fraud and I have every intention of using any and all means available to have this situation rectified. This was my first time visiting Aspen Dental and from the time that I got out of my car it did not go well. I walked to the door to walk in and it was still locked. Why do offices have you as the first person when they are supposed to be open? So I walk back to my car and call inside and get Tasha she said can you come in and do some paperwork. I said I tried to but the doors were locked she apologized and said that they are open now. I walked in and she greeted me and asked me to do my new patient paperwork. However, it was on an iPad machine which I thought was kind of cool. She showed me what she wanted me to fill out so I took it and went to sit back down and fill it out. I was called back a few minutes later by somebody who did not introduce themselves. She told me to go in the bathroom and was my hands so I did. When I came back out she was waiting for me and I told her that they needed some soap in the bathroom. There is a room next to the bathroom and she told me to step between this machine and I turned around and asked her what is it? She said Xray in my head I was like you could have told me what it was you see it everyday but I don't. I thought that it was cool to stand up to get an xray but it was not over. Then she took me directly to the next room where she told me to open and bite approximately 20 times her customer service was atrocious she did not explain anything to me that she was doing. So then she took me to where I was going to have my examination and told me sit down in the chair and someone would be with me soon. There was a girl also in this room and she ask me how was i doing , and I replied that I fine after all that biting down and she replied it happens. At this point I was like maybe I need to leave because these people are about to make me loose it. However, they had a classic on the television so I decided to focus on watching the karate kid. Then Dr. Ross walks in and he actually introduces himself and I was like about time. So he gets down to business and the morning starts to turn around while he examines my teeth. He tells me he can tell which side of my mouth I chew on the most. I was thinking do I do that and the rest of the day I was paying attention. We talk about me and his daughter and have some laughs now names relaxed. He finishes and we talk about a plan for my teeth and it goes very well and we are on the same page. Then the hygienist comes in and she introduces herself as Tory she was super cool and explained everything that she was going to do before she did it. When Tory was finished she told me that Tasha would be in momentarily to get me. I could tell that she even smiled through her mask. Tasha came and got me and we talked about cost and what I had to pay and what the insurance paid. Tasha was very thorough and we set up a plan. So I will be going back a lot because personally I can only get one thing at a time. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in 8 years because my past experiences with them have been traumatizing. This staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with their process and completely took my anxiety about it away. Pretty decent prices and for once it was actually almost fun to go read more

5 years ago when I first got dentures Aspen did a great job. I needed a new set of uppers so I came back. I am now on my 5th visit to get them. 1st visit was x-ray and 2 fillings and impressions. Not a big deal. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. The x-ray tech must have been new because she caused me great pain shoving the apparatus into my gums but she got someone else who did it 1st try. I returned to try on my wax set. No issues. Fit perfectly. Third visit was to pick up my uppers except that they didn't fit at all. In fact, they didn't even touch my gums in several places. Dr Williams came in and did some adjustments and sent them into the lab and wallah, perfect fit. He told me I had to wear them for a day with the soft lining and return the next to ensure nothing was amiss. 4th visit and absolutely nobody knew what I was there for. They also tried to charge me $145 for a relign even though I had paid in advance and still had not gotten my uppers. After repeating myself 3 different times to explain what the doctor had said, they took another impression and told me to come back the next day. Visit number 5. Another crew of different people and my uppers were in an open box with no cover at the front desk! I tried them on and they were so loose I couldn't open my mouth without having them fall out. They could tell I was a little put out and got me back in a room quickly. 2 more sets of impressions and they got the purple goop all on my face and mustache. I am currently sitting out front waiting for my uppers again. I have now been here over 2 hours. In short. My experience at Aspen this time has been terrible. Not one visit out of 5 have the same people been here. They don't seem to pass on notes as I have had to repeatedly explain what is going on. The dentist today pretty much told me that the wobbling and looseness was normal even though yesterday with the soft lining they fit perfectly with no adhesive needed. I don't know how this visit will turn out but after 5 visits with a 50 mile drive each time, I will not be sending my wife here to get her dentures done. 2 hours later at home. New uppers brought to front desk again in open, unprotected box. They fit. Not as well as they did after Dr. Williams adjusted them but 5th time is a charm I suppose. I will wear them and see if I grow into them as Dr Patel suggested. All in all you get what you pay for. The additional costs of lost time and especially high gas prices don't help but the people at Aspen seem like they are trying to do a good job. I did see some basic hygiene issues that they could address like taking instruments out of your mouth and sitting them on a table and then putting them back in your mouth. I am not a clean freak by any standard but the place was a bit dingier than 5 years ago. The open uncovered box with dentures I am supposed to try on is off putting to. It was a fair experience as far as customer service. The people are friendly and the doctors nice. You can get a lot done for a little money. Only if you are patient. BUT the Doctor that pulled out my tooth was horrible; came in the room drying her hands on her scrubs (first flag) ,did not introduce herself(second flag), after giving me the sedation shot did not give it time to work and started to pull my tooth. I raised my hand she did not quit. Tears and cussing she finally stop for a small second then started up again. Saying she could not give me more sedation. When the tooth came out finally she dropped the tooth on the tray and left in a huff. NO sorry it hurt or anything. I thought I was back in the old west getting my tooth pulled by the town drunk. They had taken my wisdom teeth out and i started to have my jaw bone move through my gums as they adjusted to no tooth being there. I went in for a post op procedure. I asked for laughing gas as they were going to be "filing" down my jaw. by the way it felt more like they were just clipping the exposed parts off. they ignored my request and wanted to numb me with a syringe and i am extremely terrified of needles. they decided they wanted to try a numbing topical and would reassess if i was in pain. i was laying there screaming in pain and the dr kept going. i tried signaling to him that i was in pain and to stop and once again i was ignored. they didn't prescribe me pain medication afterwards either. i do not recommend aspen dental to anybody. not unless you want your wishes to be ignored and your mouth to be in pain. read more

at this point in time, I just hope that the dental service is going to be better than the customer service at this office. First of all, I had an appointment in October. The problems with my teeth are not easy, as I have an old implant in my mouth, that apparently is hard to match With the upper pieces needed to make a tooth. I started in this office in early October. Due to the cost of the procedure, I did not follow up until around November 1. At that time, I left three messages that were not returned. I then emailed, and waited about a week, and never got any response. The office manager was copied on the first email, and on the second email that I sent next. I had explained several times that my dental insurance was at stake here. I didn't wanna pay more for the premiums and what the insurance was going to pay. I ultimately made the decision to cancel my insurance on December 31, thinking that they were going to take care of me. After much confusion by the office, and back-and-forth conversations between them, me, and the dentist, I finally got in on December 21. As of now, I have lost my insurance, the Office has been unable to identify the parts needed to fix my implant, And I should be going to another dentist to make the identification; however, as of now, the office has not provided that information to me and I don't even know where to call. The people are very friendly, the dentist is extremely nice, and I think I will like him, but the office communication is horrendously bad. Side note: The waiting room music is extremely loud. It needs to be leveled out and turned down. I think they have two speakers, one on each side of the office. If you are unfortunate enough to sit near those speakers, you will think you have been to a rock concert. read more

dreadful after getting the permanant dentures i realized almost immediately they are infact the same material that the temp dentures were. the temps were not usable they assured me the permanent ones would be. almost two months in they are not they are huge they said they would size them down the teeth are too big they need to be remade. i went to several non aspen denturist and had a former aspen denture tech look at these they confirmed when i showed them my immediates and my temps they are the same material and these permanant ones are not going to be usable when i chew you can hear them across the room iwas removed from a restaurant because of them. i can not chew drink or eat with them at all its ridiculous. i have bone spurs they say i dont you can feel them. just terrible how my fiancee used his care credit to get these for me and they are not usable at all. i was so excited to get dentures because my teeth were bad now i wish i had just let me original teeth just kill me at with them even though they were rotten and below the gumline i could at least chew read more

If you have plenty of money then this is the place for you. Basic cleaning $152 without xray another place charged me $89. Put a bridge back in Aspen $2645 another dentist charged me$663. Last year deep cleaning was $2700 but new dentist said no more than $1200. They are very expensive. Check out national complaints about over charging. read more

45 minute wait when no one was ahead of me. Went in for a check up, got X-rays and was told my teeth were fine I just needed a cleaning. Went and talked to the insurance lady and was told I was going to have to come back and schedule a cleaning another day, they had no one there to clean my teeth. I find it very strange to be at a dentist office and they don't have anyone on staff to clean my teeth. No apology or anything. Do not go here. I've been 3x, they try to sell you whitening instead of worrying about your teeth. I had to come back a 2nd time for my cleaning because they took too long on my 1st visit that they were closing. My 3rd visit was to get a surface filling done but they numbed the wrong part of my mouth and got the filling crap all over the front of my tooth. I have never been to this company but they not only made me feel at home but the lab tech that fixed my bottom denture did and AAA+ repair. Ok to start I did have to wait 30 mins but my treatment was well worth the wait. As a new patient I received a free exam and X-rays. I started with one lady who was very sweet and she did my X-rays, they do quite a few because they really want to evaluate your dental needs. Then she takes you to the back and the dentist - dr jones came in to check my mouth against the X-rays and mark what I needed on my chart. She was very friendly!! After this I was immediately taken to Tommi, she does the plans and pricing so you know what you are looking at. Overall because I need a crown my work is 3,663 but I elected to do a few of my cavities which average 200$ each to start. I have 4 which would have been $800 but Tommi found me a coupon and brought my cost to $589. This is great for someone with no dental insurance. I was scheduled for the same day and will update on my filling experience. Honestly I was scared to go to dentist because of cost and being judged for not having been to the dentist in awhile. This story starts yesterday with a messed up tooth, screaming pain and my regular dentist just retired and his replacement won't be back in town for 5 days. Nobody I talked to could see me today but Aspen said they'd work me in. I've never been there before and they knew I didn't have insurance and they might never see me again. Today Dr Ryan and staff took care of me at a cost I could afford. Sure it took a few hours but they were doing me a favor, a kindness, by working me in among scheduled Clients and for this I am grateful. Don't waste your time and money to get pushed into taking what they give you & avoid you when you ask to work things out I absolutely hate having to put my business out here, its embarrassing. However, I came in with a broken flipper that was still being worn. We were there only to purchase a new partial. We made it very clear to the dentist we didn't want the orginal flipper touched until we were satisfied with the new partail. MJ a staff member quickly asked to see the broken flipper. I handed it over. She says "oh this is so easy to fix." I said, oh no I don't want this to be fixed today, as we started walking to the front desk she said "oh no let us fix it real quick so you can go eat. ( I don't eat with it) I refused, multiple times. She took off with my tooth saying all she has to do is add something to it. I was in a panic. I was trying to tell my husband who was talking to Hanna. She took my tooth. I said, "they're going to mess it up." I was so upset & didn't know what to do. Although I wanted to I couldn't just start yelling & enter their work space. I wanted to wait until I had a finished fitted product. It didn't make sense to have them fix my partail without knowing if Aspen could make an accurate new partail. When they brought it back the fit was awful. I was so upset. MJ asked to see the roof of my mouth & tried acting as though she could see it fits, it didn't fit. They insisted "it's ok we can fix it we just have to break it again." What!? Well I couldn't wear it out the door so I had to let them do that. They brought it back a second time. This time didn't fit either but I could wear it, they said we can fix it we will have to break it again. I said No! The dentist could tell how unhappy I was & said we can fix it  to fit after we finish your other denture, Okay. Fine. Now my partail that I did love (Even broken) is still messed up & because I'm terrified to let anyone touch it now my original flipper now scratches on the front of the tooth,  & the acrilic that was added isn't the same material (cheap). Second, When I came in to get my tooth fitted we found out the original dentist had left that office. We we're very confused but went with it. When I put in the partial there were large gaps on each side of the tooth, awful!! I said "no, I can't take this like this.' MJ & the new dentist said it looks great ( fake happiness, like I'm a dog that can't see but only be happy because of their tone). The new dentist said we can't fix that's just the way it is. They both tried telling me it looked GREAT. said, "I'm not taking this." They said ok but we will have to reschedule since the tech is not here. When we went back I was told they would have to restart the mold it because the original mold broke. They did not redo the wax try in, just a top mold. When they brought back the new tooth, I told them it doesn't fit and I really don't like the gap in the front. They talked me into taking it home and trying it out. On my way out, I was crying about how I did not like the partial, MJ said " at least it looks better than the gap that was already there". I was already insecure!! I cried everyday for more than a week. Furthermore on the lighter side of this  unprofessional treatment I was not told about my options on partials. I was not told which package I would be receiving for 600$. I received the same quality of materials from aspen that I did from a competing denturist for $250 & received your so called classic pack for $400 from another competitor. They took my money, $600, & tried doing the least amount of work that they could do then tried to pressure (bully)  me into taking whatever they had for me. I was there for a routine cleaning (since my dentist just moved), after 1 hour of waiting, a technician came and laughed "oh, I didn't know you are still here", then she took my X-ray, (should be 30 times before she got it right), then she insist I have to pay $200 for a deep root cleaning, which I can't afford. I had another wonderful dentist for 5 years but the wait for a cleaning got to to be extensive and if I needed to reschedule I could go 8 months before a reschedule. My hubby went to Aspen for his dental needs and they always got him in fast so when I needed a cleaning I thought I'd try them too. The hygienist was wonderful very gentle no judgements over my spotty flossing. She really knows her stuff too. I have a terrible toothache. I made a 12P appointment and still had to wait 45 min. for Xrays and then was told to come back at 2:45 to fix it. I don't have insurance, but paid in cash. They made me pay up front, but gave me no receipt for what I was paying. I went back and still had to wait another hour. Then, the equipment wouldn't work. The dentist finally drilled out an old filling and then re-filled it. She was very rough, water was running down my neck to my back, and she kept saying your mouth is too small... I told her it still hurt, so she said it must be another tooth... This is the worst experience I've ever had at a dental office. My thought is that since I didn't have insurance, they thought I probably couldn't pay for a crown, so they got what they could and tossed me out. They were unprofessional and uncaring. read more

I was in OKC for a month for my employer and broke a filling shortly after arriving. It couldn't wait till I returned home to my regular dentist, so I went looking. This Aspen Dental office had good reviews, so I thought I would give them a try. I was able to get a quick appointment, and the tooth was repaired very nicely in one visit. The entire office staff was friendly and helpful. Primary and secondary insurance was taken into consideration, and the final cost to me was minimal. I wouldn't hesitate to use Aspen Dental in the future. Alas, they have no office where I live. read more
