This is not your run of the mill restaurant, but a place to take a break from life (as denoted by the no computers sign) and enjoy a quiet lunch or coffee. The owner is a wonderful human who puts the emphasis on taking the time to prepare and deliver a great experience for his patrons. We had two different pastas which were made fresh by hand to order and both were delightful. If we make it back to Visby, this will be at the top of our list of places to visit.

Visby is littered with old buildings and cafes. I suspect most are pretty good but this one seemed the more committed than the rest. Visby is a place where Swedes go to vacation. I picked up a few traditional swedish buns and breads to try, and a coffee. My favorite one had a kind of anise flavor mixed with cinnamon, it was good but definitely something I had never tried before. I loved being able to try these traditional sweets from another country.
