I cannot recommend her enough. I found her through a friend who used her for her wedding. The pictures she took for my friends wedding were literally out of a wedding magazing!! With us - first, she started with our engagement pics (included in our wedding package), which were amazing. We were hoping to wing things and she was able to find beautiful spots to take so so many amazing photos in. She got them all edited and back to us within a month (and this, mind you, is during peak wedding season). THEN comes the wedding planning. I was a very detailed planner, and Caitlin and I were a match made in vendor heaven. She was in contact with us throughout our 2.5 year engagement, helping us get a grip on what we will need for wedding time, and then about a month before, she sends over a whole website (!!!) for us to fill out to keep track of things we want, timelines, contacts, picture lists, etc. Not having to type that all up in an email and answer it questionnaire style was literally the best ever. I even received an email from her at one point telling me that if I need to talk about wedding planning to get talked back from the ledge, she could talk me down. How great is that - not only concerned with her piece in the wedding, but making sure that things are going great for me. On the wedding day, Caitlin and her assistant photographer Megan were like ninjas. Everything we wanted in pictures was captured beautifully. Our wedding photos were sent to us while we were on our honeymoon - not even 2 weeks after the event - GORGEOUS. Totally edited and ready to use. She uses an online album sharing tool to view (and you can download/order as well from there). But is also sending along a USB full of all the pictures for us to keep. Caitlin you ROCK!! Dena was absolutely everything we could have ever hoped for. From the very beginning, she listened…read moreto what we wanted. Our wedding was in the Pittsburgh area, but we live about 90 minutes away. Without hesitation, Dena offered to drive to us for our engagement session. She even drove up to the park earlier in the week to scout good photo locations. On top of all of this, we planned for part of our engagement shoot to be somewhat silly- wearing taco shirts and eating tacos as if on a picnic. Dena checked in several times to make sure we had all thing thins we needed: blanket, picnic basket, and even plastic bags to put under the blanket since it was wet out. Dena was very easy going and easy to work with. Our personalities just meshed. I wasn't always the quickest at emails (sorry Dena if you're reading this!), but she always followed up to make sure everything was in order. I always felt at ease when communicating with her which made me sure I'd be okay with having her around on our big day. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and started taking pictures before I even knew she was there. We didn't have a long list of "must have" photos, but Dena made sure we got them all. I can't tell you how many of our guests said that it felt like our photographer was everywhere, and we were at a sprawling outside venue. But even so, if something was happening, Dena got a picture of it. Our photos clearly show that. The end results basically speak for themselves. We have over a thousand photos that capture our day better than we could ever imagine. We also have a handful of small gifts from Dena that she sent along the way. I think the biggest praise comes from my now husband who famously didn't have an opinion on anything wedding. As I told him I was writing this he said, "Dena was my favorite vendor."
