Let me begin with saying that I spent hours searching for a wedding photographer but I couldn't find one because I would either not like their pictures or I didn't feel connection with a person. I started to feel nervous as the wedding date was approaching and I still didn't have a confirmed photographer. But then I was fortunate to find Iuliana! We got on a face time call, and I knew from the first minute of conversation that she is the one perfect photographer choice for us - for multiple reasons. First, her portfolio is beautiful, she is very creative in her work and knows how to present the uniqueness of each couple's story. Second, she is very personable - it feels like you're talking to a friend when you speak with Iuliana. There was no awkwardness that I usually experience when talking to a new person I just met - it felt like I knew Iuliana for years! Third reason was that Iuliana goes an extra mile with preparation process: when we were discussing the wedding timeline, she has proposed several ideas on the small details that we could add to take pretty pictures and make our day more memorable (a quick example: she suggested to hand out the sparklers to all guests at the end of the wedding reception, so we could capture that on the camera). As a bride, I really appreciated the fact that our photographer was helping me to plan for all of the details. Fourth reason is that Iuliana is very well organized which is an absolute blessing for every couple she works with. Prior to our wedding, Iuliana suggested to do an engagement / love story video, and she planned it to the minute! We covered multiple locations (tennis courts, park, downtown area, restaurant, etc.) and outfit changes in just a few hours. Iuliana and I have been discussing the story line and outfits prior to the video shooting, and she told us exactly what to wear and what to bring. During the video shooting she would show us short pieces from the movies as an example to demonstrate what we needed to do at each location. Both my fiance and I were beyond impressed how prepared she was - she must have spent hours just to get ready for our video shooting. It's worth saying that my fiance doesn't like to be on camera and was skeptical about entire idea, but Iuliana was so nice and friendly that my fiance totally opened up and ended up enjoying the process. The video turned out to be absolutely gorgeous, I almost cried at the end after watching it. I felt like my fiance and I fell in love all over again after seeing how happy we were together in that video - it helped us remember why we decided to spend our lives together in the first place. We're planning to show this video during our wedding, and I'm really excited about that!
