I had a garage door for two car garage installed after previous one got dented. Overall, they did a good job on my new garage door. There were a couple complications: it took significantly longer to receive the door than they originally told me it would. Also, at first they said I didn't need a new motor and then they said I did. Regarding the latter, you never quite know what to believe, although these guys seem trustworthy. The guy I worked with was very responsive, and I really appreciated that. They may have done a good job but charge way too much. Our garage door had one broken spring, and they charged me $670 for only 45 mins of work. The problem was quite obvious as the spring was broken. Since no diagnosis was needed, the guy went straight into replacing the springs. He told me he needs probably 1-1.5 hour, but it only took him 45 mins. I was in the middle of an important meeting and I really need to fix the garage door ASAP, so I agreed on the price. But $670 for 45 mins of work was crazily high. I would suggest getting a quote before making an appointment with KSE garage door. read more

The safety sensors on my garage door opener stopped working and it would no longer automatically open/close the door. Based on positive Yelp reviews I engaged KSE Garage Door Services, and am very happy I did. First of all, they were able to schedule a service call for the next day (fast service!). The technician Jeff called ahead as promised and arrived within the scheduled window. He was polite, knowledgeable, and communicated very well. I asked him to first repair the safety sensors, and then to perform an inspection of my whole system (door + opener) and advise me of any other problems he observed, give me his assessment of my system's current condition, and what (if anything) he thought was worn to the point that it needed to be replaced. Jeff inspected the system as asked, and made some minor adjustments that improved the existing system's operation. He said that while my springs/cables/pulleys had some wear and tear he didn't think they needed immediate replacement. He told me the opener itself was reaching its end of expected service life and recommended I replace it, but he wasn't high pressure about it. He gave me a quote to replace the opener with a particular newer model, and a quote to replace springs/cables/pulleys. I decided to hold off replacing anything but the failed sensors for now. Jeff installed new sensors and they work perfectly. And thanks to his minor adjustments the existing system is operating more quietly and smoothly than before. I do intend to replace the opener and the springs/cables/pulleys in the near future and I will definitely hire KSE Garage Door Systems for that job. I'm very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to others. read more
