I then inquired if I could obtain 15-20% discount as it is a customary discount level for most timepieces of this caliber. He told me that if I knew so much about his business, then I don't need to purchase from him. It was such an abrupt retort to a normal question during sales. He was right, I didn't need to purchase from him. So I thanked him for his time and promptly left.

For example, the stainless steel band on my Tag Heuer broke and, out of convenience, I went for a repair estimate at a jeweler closer to my home. They told me it was irreparable and a new one would cost ca. €400. I then went to Böhnel and it was repaired quickly for a sum so low I can't remember it. I wish all businesses were run this well.
