Kulturhuset Komedianten is a culutural centre in Varberg. The building hosts amongst others Varbergs Stadsbibliotek, which is the local library, Varbergs Konsthall, an exhibition space and also Tovedals Kafé, a coffee shop.
After the building was extensively refurbished and expanded, it reopened in 2012. Today, Kulturhuset Komedianten is a light and warm structure, with lots of wood and open space. The coffee shop invites to take a break with delicious food and average coffee. The library provides plenty of space to read and study. Finally, the exhibition space upstairs gives stage to interesting art - while I was visiting the Konsthall, there was art inspired by video games on display, an interesting and young topic that should work well at a local library.
I think, Kulturhuset Komedianten is a great place to visit in Varberg, even more if you are interested in art or architecture. read more
