He is always patient, spends as…read moremuch time with me as possible and has never rushed or made me feel like an inconvenience, as many docs in the Bloom/Norm area do. He's always been a caring person. I initially resisted going on a medication, and he bargained with me - if I didn't see results, he'd agree I shouldn't be on it and we'd look for other alternatives I took his word and I saw immediate positive results. I was wrong. He always listens to what I have to say, and I feel like he's a partner in my health, not just an authority telling me what to do. He works with me. I was so confident with him, that I brought my aging mother to him, and he was the only doctor that could ever get my mother to take her meds, and take better care of herself. He was sweet, kind and caring. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ira Halperin. I've never been with one doctor, this long in my life.

My mom went to him and he immediately started messing with the medication she was on without even seeing her or speaking to her. They put her in a patient room and he worked through a nurse. Refused to talk to her when she questioned him and told her "to just deal with it" and "this is not up for negotiation" all transferred through the nurse. DO NOT see this doctor if you value your health. Another person we know went to him with a non-healing wound and first thing he said was that it needed to be amputated! I'm happy to say they sought a second opinion. My mom has also changed doctors.

Clearly Carle Clinic continues to and exploit and price gouge and offer highest risk and cost pain…read moremeds in ER rooms throughout Central Illinois - their systems and process and EPIC workflows and portals are shady and data integrations too and out consumers, patients and ans citizens athigh risk too My mother (recently went to BN located ER) For pain she immediately was offered a high risk high cost drug (Fentenal rather than low cost Tylenol which works fine) My Mom rightly Refused Fentenal push by medical "professionals" there clearly the logistics, purchasing, billing/procurement and service and procurement needs examined and supply chain OSF and Carle and probably by Christie Clinic (all Central Illinois) This gouging and high risk use of Fentenal in ER rooms and especially high risk patients should be illegal But of course they can charge more (Medicaid) Iterations, Operations, Billing, EPIC rules and data partners and Admin and common sense protocols need examined (throughout Illinois) Easy money games need to end

I used to see my doctor Aveila at the East Peoria Carle clinic for about 6 years. I didn't see him…read moreoften but he was a good caring responsible doctor. He is no longer there as of about three or so months ago. The last time I saw him his office staff had changed. The office staff was rude unprofessional and name-calling. Can you imagine? I couldn't have never walked into a place like that before. The receptionist told me you're not worth my time. That was over the phone. I asked to talk to the office manager and she the receptionist switch me over to the girl that was at her side who also treated me with disregard and rudeness. I finally did get to talk to the office manager who was slightly "More professional" But seem to cling to the fact that she had people working under her and that's who she was going to support rather than the patients. Most recently I received a bill in the mail from them. And I called and said I think this is a mistake when I went in to speak with the doctor for the final time We briefly spoke and he said no charge today. The office receptionist confirmed that. Yet now three or four months later I get a bill It's not a huge bill but it's just not right. I don't know how to say this any clearer but if you want good care if you want a clinic who is professional and honest you really really want to avoid the East Peoria clinic. If you've been there before say a year ago or more You're going to remember a much better staff and a really good doctor. Those people are gone. DON'T ENTRUST YOUR HEALTH TO THIS GROUP! I'm giving them one star two indicate how bad they are but the truth is they don't even deserve that one star.

People who seek help from specialists, like Dr. Radden, are already scared and confused -to treat patients poorly is to add insult to injury. Unfortunately, Dr. Radden is one of two specialist for the Bloomington /Normal area ...and her staff treat you like an emotional punching bag knowing your options are limited.
