I answered an advertisement for a $49 consultation and soft wave therapy session. Having been my first time to this office and never having an appointment with a chiropractor before, I did not know what to expect. I was greeted by the receptionist, Julie, who was very friendly. Her interaction with others in the waiting room proved that she knew them on a personal level and that was nice to see. I was called out of the waiting room by Dr. Kabir personally and escorted to his office for the consultation where we discussed not only my medical concerns but my fear of spinal manipulation. He was very friendly, personable and I felt at ease. After this consultation he escorted me to the person who would do my first soft wave therapy session, Nina. Nina was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. She performed the therapy asking for my input during treatment. An appointment was made for follow up to discuss findings, outcomes and further plan of care. Several hours later, as I was mowing the lawn, it dawned on me that I wasn't sure I should be doing that as I did not ask about activity for the rest of the day before leaving the office. I sent a text message to the office and received a friendly reply 10 minutes later. At this point, I am not sure how to describe how the treatment area is feeling. Definitely not painful at all. Let me just start by saying, my uncle is a chiropractor and has been my chiro since I was a NB. I needed someone around town to adjust me more frequently. But was nervous to try someone new as it's very up close and personal I gave 2 other practices a shot with no luck in how I was progressing / feeling... I'm from the area & kept seeing ads about dr. Kabir.. I filled out my app and it was the best decision I've made! My experience has been terrific, staff is wonderful, doc is always so welcoming as is his staff! I was on a 8 week 3 days a week program with little to no range of motion in my neck, extreme back pain when I'd be at work (cosmetologist & bartender) on top of I wasn't sleeping the greatest and was experiencing additional health problems at the time. After my 8 weeks we did my X-rays again & I have almost full range in my neck 5/7 when I came in I was 2/7 and that was stretching to say 2. I no longer have as much back pain, I sleep better at night. I look forward to my now weekly visits! I cannot recommend Dr. Kabir enough! If you're skeptical about going to someone new, needing someone to actually consider your concerns this is the place for you! Dr. Kabir is honest and upfront with his assessments and treatments. He does his best to accommodate appointment needs and he gets results. It took some time but I am finally pain free in my back , it was debilitating on and off for a few years. Chiropractic is not a miracle cure for anything but rather an important piece of the puzzle to achieving overall health and wellness. Dr. Kabir does not sell chiropractic care like that and I appreciate his honesty and how he cares for his patients well being first and foremost while also running an efficient business with a great model for chiropractic and health and wellness. We used NRT, muscle testing, Human Design along with PSYCH-K to help me with some digestive issues and chronic pain.
