I was extremely grateful because this would have stopped me from proceeding with my mechanical engineering degree. One thing to consider when coming here is that you need to come prepared to learn. Some tutors get paid to help you do you homework and some actually fill in the blanks from what goes over your head in class, which is infinitely more valuable. If you want someone to do your homework for you than this might not be the place for you. Buffalo Academy has lecture notes for most of the common courses so you can be sure that they know exactly what your professors are lecturing almost down to the day. One thing that Buffalo Academy offers is higher priced options for guarenteed grades in a class. At first I wasn't so sure about this but they have years of statistics to prove they are worth their word. On top of this, the academy offers invaluable career development programs for business students that you absolutely will not get on campus...period. Although it has a high sticker price, they have a plethora of proven success stories and many of their past students are available for you to reach out and hear about their experience for themselves. Overall you can't go wrong with Buffalo Academy as long as you take it seriously and put in required effort. Hold yourself accountable for your own education and success!!

When our son (junior at Boulder High) was struggling with Calculus, Ben Tweedlie at Mindfish was amazingly helpful. We have a daughter who is a sophomore at CU Boulder in Chemical Engineering who we realized could also use a tutor for Calculus. My 16 year old found out she was going to see Ben also and said "oh you'll really like him. He's great. He's funny and very helpful at explaining things." Folks, if that doesn't say it all I don't know what does. I tried to act cool, but as a parent, its nice to hear your teenager really likes their tutors. We are very happy to have found Mindfish.

When I refer to stress-free, I'm talking for both my sons and my wife and me! Nita is caring and skilled, and she brought out the best in both of our kids. Her encouragement in the writing process for the many essays at many schools led to more creative and insightful narratives. She's a chameleon for different types of students. Our oldest had more of a sense of where he wanted to go and what he wanted to study but wasn't naturally self-driven to get the work done. So for him, Nita masterfully broke down the assignments to make them achievable, and he never complained about having work to do (still trying to figure out this particular magic myself!). Nicole is a very good professor and she makes sure that I am always progressing and reaching my personal objectives and goals for the language. I really enjoy Nicole's positive energy and patience throughout the language learning process. She is also very good at explaining grammar concepts and tricky vocabulary without just simply translating.
