It started as a great boba tea lounge with Japanese cheesecakes, but now it's more of a random pastry shop selling whatever the owner brings to the shop to sell. I miss the original vibe, but I kept coming back. Lately, though, the boba teas have been hit or miss, it really depends on who makes them. At this point, they're just not worth the price. What really bothered me today was seeing an automatic gratuity added to my receipt and the staff didn't mention it. The girl serving me didn't let me know about it, so I ended up leaving an extra tip on top of that without realizing. When I asked her about it, she said she didn't know when the policy started and that the automatic tip doesn't go to her, just the extra tip does. So either the owner is stealing from the staff, or she's is lying to get extra tips. Either way, it didn't seem right. I've stuck with this place through all its changes, but the lack of honesty and transparency is a deal-breaker for me. Sadly, I won't be coming back. I will definitely not come back for mediocre boba tea that comes with a 15% automatic gratuity.. SORRY!!

The atmosphere is pretty chill, though they do get quite a few customers at busy times (you know, Friday nights, Saturday nights, and whatnot), but it's totally worth it. They are open until 10:00 PM every single day, which is so convenient. I've officially become a regular customer here. This place has just become my regular spot to come and get a boba tea.
