The first spot I pulled up to, credit card wasn't working. The second spot I pulled up to, the gas was trickling so slowly that I could hear it--1 gallon must have taken a full minute or more. So, the third spot I pulled up to worked. Thank goodness. But this whole time, I'm scared that someone could easily see me alone and take advantage of me. I think I will fill up somewhere else if I ever find myself back in that area.

I visit this Petro-Canada gas station more than any others in the city for a few reasons…read more Probably the main reasons I gas up here is because it's on my route to and from work and I collect Petro Points. The pumps are also well lit and are set up for pay-at-the-pump which is nice. Some of members of the staff are less than cordial but I usually pay at the pump anyway. The store has lots of snacks and other emergency items as well. The station parking area/pumps are easy to access from the road also. This station also seems to be a bit cheaper than most other gas stations in town which is a bit surprising nice it's easy-on easy-off from Highway 401. If you're travelling on 401 and find yourself low on fuel, stop at exit 789 and fill up here. Open 24 hours.

Great experience...my daughter was getting ready to leave Potsdam for the summer (we live 3 hours…read moreaway) when her car made a terrible noise when pressing on the gas pedal. She called AAA and they towed her to Martins. I called to check on the repair needed and they said it was a small repair and would be ready in an hour. 10 minutes later they called to say there was another problem and didn't have the part - they had the part overnighted and fixed it on a Saturday( they could have told us we wld have to wait til Monday). The rate for labor and parts was very reasonable and I am glad she now has a neighborhood garage for the next 2 years she will be I'm Potsdam. Thank you Martins for not overcharging and out of town college student.

This place rocks…read more It's a great place to get gas - not like you really have a choice way up here in the Adirondacks - but the good thing is that they are usually reasonably priced gas. All the staples you need too are in there - beer, newspapers, even fruit and vegetables. They even have pizza too - and it's pretty good! I think one night a week they have a special price deal on the pizza. Who would have thought a gas station would be such a good option for food!?!
