We were there for an oil change and state inspection. Justin manned the check-in. He was very upbeat, friendly, polite and caring.

great owner, horrible experience with the collision shop. They had my car for one month and it sat with doors unlocked. They promised a detail and then said they do not detail. Kept me on hold for over 20 minutes, and did not have a voicemail for mgr that was set up. Called me a disparaging name. I am 70, disabled, and treated horribly. Barstow Collision called me early this morning twice with no messages. Then yelled when I called them back. I have never been treated so horribly by a company in my life. They were supposed to put on my snow tires and I agreed to a time. Then collision called me back furious. Telling me they do not have a tire-changing machine in their shop. I could go I went 4 weeks without my car. Funny how they got to it at the end of my rental agreement? lol. on They blamed me and my claims examiner for them having car in lot for weeks unlocked. tried to take advantage of a situation. I'm highly disgusted at the fact that your mechanics tried to increase my bill for something I didn't need to have done. brought my car in for scratching noise during ACCELERATION. Claimed my breaks needing replacing. Just because I didn't come to your site to have them done you thought you could pull a fast one and state that ALL 4 needed to be replaced. had the replaced on a work trip out of state. my bill goes from $1400 to $600. and still the problem isn't fixed. You people treated me like I was being rude when in fact I was just frustrated cause I wasn't sure who to trust anymore. I hope whoever is reading this has daughters and I hope for your sake they are never taken advantage of in this manor. shame on you guys truly. read more

My oil sensor light was on and I received several alerts from Starlink, so after checking the oil and following the directions in the owners manual, I made an appointment. They said they would do an update and fix the problem. My husband waited for 2 hours while the problem was supposedly being resolved. We were headed downstate, to see my mom who had been hospitalized, and had not traveled more than 150 miles when the light came back on and I started receiving email alerts from Starlink again. Frustrating that we need to drive to another appt, (with the price of gas) need to sit around for hours and hope that this time the problem can be resolved. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT dropped car off during vacation, asked them to change timing chain and water pump. was not done- technician said it was necessary for 3k more miles! WTF toolbag!!! i think that tech was lazy and didn't want to do it should have learned our lesson but nooo... 2nd Bad experience- had brakes done all the way around, picked up the car and wheel bearings were making noise after service. having been a mechanic, i know you have to hit the rotors with a hammer to get them off due to salt corrosion. did nothing except take more of our money. read more

Fantastic customer service. The service staff were very helpful and polite. And the service manager introduced himself and asked if there was anything else I needed. A very pleasant surprise. The work was done well and promptly. I am very pleased with the whole experience. Also, I appreciated the good coffee and fast WIFI in the customer lounge. read more

We tried hard to give our business to a local Subaru dealer. We were treated extremely poorly at this dealership, after calling the sales manager and asking him if he could match or beat a competitor's price (we gave him prices from Plattsburgh and Syracuse that we found at other Subaru dealers). He finally told me (with an extremely rude voice) that he wasn't going to do anything for me. I was quite appalled, as I basically told him that I'd be willing to spend a bit more with him, but was asking him to be just a *bit* flexible. I would not go here if I were you - we found an outstanding deal at Bill Rapp Subaru in Syracuse - they were very nice and their prices were very negotiable. read more

I brought my Subaru here for a repair because I typically trust the dealer mechanics. Since this is a Chevy-Subaru dealership, the vibe is quite different from a Subaru dealership. I wasn't treated poorly but definitely not a friendly environment. The mechanic was unfriendly when I asked about the repairs. He seemed defensive and I was just being curious and trying to learn about the repairs and the car itself. If you want the Subaru experience, you'll need to drive pretty far. Their prices were on par with other dealerships--higher than a private shop but not ridiculously overpriced. WIsh I could give them a better review. read more

My daughter recently took her car to Barstows late one afternoon because it was shaking as she drove down the road. The service department took her in immediately and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. They were professional, courteous, friendly, thorough, and reassuring. And very reasonably priced. They were everything you look for in a service shop, but rarely find. We had never done business with them in the past, but certainly will in the future, for both sales and service. read more

We recently brought a vehicle to Barstow to get it serviced as the rear wheel bearing was making noise. In the process the mechanics broke several other parts and made us pay for them, stating that it was part of fixing the issue and couldn't be avoided. That is a load of cow poop, it could have been avoided if they employed better trained mechanics. The dealership only offered a small discount which didn't even make a dent in the crazy amount they charged. What was thought to be a $200 dollar job at most quickly became a $700 dollar job. I will never go there again, nor will any of my friends. There are far better mechanics else where in the area. read more
