The salon is modern, welcoming and lovely and clean and all the staff are very welcoming. I have been twice now and had Maria both for colour and style. Her advice and understanding of my hair has been the best I have ever had. Have my third appointment booked with her and I know I will not be disappointed. P.S Maria is the only hairdresser I know who has not had to ask which side I have my parting on!

I clarified with the manager who said that if it took longer than 2 hours I would be charged £45 I assumed that would be the max I would be paying so proceeded with the appointment. I arrived to the appointment & the girl doing my hair didn't seem to really know what she was doing & a trainee so did not do a neat job of the cornrows at all very untidy & not salon quality. The braiding hair wasn't prepped properly resulting in tangling & scraggy ends & hair poking out of the cornrows . She finished after 3 hours so the salon owner proceeded to charge me £50 for the job - shocking as the braiding was poor quality & untidy. I challenged this and was met with disrespect by the owner & as a 1st time customer I was disgusted of my treatment. I will never visit this place again! Bad customer service, bad pricing, a real rip off

my mum always goes here for her hair cuts…read more the gentleman that owns and runs the shop is a very nice person very friendly and helpful too. he has a great price list and is always happy to cut your hair even at short notice (like sticking your head in the door and asking'' can you cut my hair in 5 mins? ive just gotta nip to the bank and i have a party to go to later :D) he has a lady come into the hairdressers several times a week to do the childrens and teenagers hair cuts and he tends to deal with the older clients or perms and such things. a great place to go if in need of a hair cut!
