First time dining at Kuya J in Boracay. This restaurant is inside one of the hotels.
Kuya J's provides excellent customer service and delicious meals.
We dined on a Wednesday early evening for a party of 4. When we came in the place wasn't so busy but later on diners and customers started coming in.
We wanted to eat classic and traditional Filipino soul food. We ordered garlic fried rice, bangus sisig, pork sisig, lumpia Shanghai, fried chicken, Gulaman at sago and mango juice to name a few.
The sisig was flavorful and crispy. It was on point. It was also plentiful. The lumpia Shanghai was fried properly and inside was not overcooked. Fried chicken was deep fried yet the chicken still remained tender. Garlic fried rice was yummy and not overwhelming. Sago at gulaman was good and not too sweet. Also enjoyed the mango juice.
We can't wait to come back and try other food items on Kuya J's menu. read more
