Got in the car with a driver who refused to turn on his meter and then demanded $25 in cash ahead of time to go 1.5 miles. License plate was 08141. I tried to call the service at the number printed on the side of the cab to ask for help but no one picked up and there was no answering machine. Do not get in the car with this service. read more

I wasn't just driving behind one of your cabs on my way home and 2 times trash was thrown out of the window. I honked but the driver did not acknowledge it and kept driving. Littering is against the LAW and I don't appreciate trash being discarded in my neighborhood. After seeing this I would not use this cab company. This was a red mini van driving down Franklin Limestone and turnedright on Billingsgate today about 7:05PM if you can track down the driver for your company. read more

Francis was the driver we were lucky enough to have from the airport to Opryland hotel. He gave me his number and scheduled our pickup for 5 days later. We had a 630 am pickup scheduled and he was ready and waiting for us at 6am. Francis was kind and did a great job. Highly recommend cab #55. read more

Worst experience ever. DO NOT GET IN CAB!!! Driver was purposely trying to take longer route when I am from here. Then he proceeded to be extremely rude when we got to our destination, requesting 4 times as much as we should pay. He then spit on one of the passengers in our car because we didn't agree with what he was trying to charge. So unprofessional and not safe to be a cab driver. read more

Attempted to use this company once. Called them to reserve a time to pickup my friends and I. They never showed up. I go to call them and see what the deal was...no answer. Although the driver was nice & he was even 10 minutes early I'm giving it 2 stars because the trunk of his car was so packed with trash that we could not fit our 2nd suitcase! The driver had to shove the bag on the passenger seat where it blocked vision in all side passenger windows and felt unsafe. Along with more papers, trash and empty can on the floor! I've used them twice and had really good experiences. First time they were there in 15 mins. 2nd time it took them 30 mins but I was at vandy tailgate going to a concert downtown. I've used taxis enough to know for big event days ur gonna wait about 30 mins. Clean cabs. Good and nice drivers. read more

I have never experienced worst service in a cab ride. The driver refused to turn on the meter and asked us for a flat fee that was 3x what Uber was charging. At the end of the ride, he cursed out the entire cab and through our money out of the window. I felt as if he was trying to take advantage of what he thought was intoxicated women, which was not the case. Ask for Samuel!!! I needed to take my cat to the vet. (You wouldn't believe how many places refused to give me a ride because of that- even when I told them she would be in a small carrier on my lap.) It was okay with Kwik Cab, so I made an appointment for 7:30am the next day. I was so surprised to see that not only was the driver (Samuel) on time, he was even a little EARLY. :) He gave me his card, and his brother Kwame's card, and told me he could pick me up whenever I was ready. I took him up on it after my cat had spent the day at the vet, and it was time to pick her up again. He said he could be there in 30 minutes. At the thirty minute mark, he called me to say he was very sorry, and that he was running late because of traffic. (Totally understandable - it was POURING rain that day, and the CMAs were going on.) He said he would be there in ten minutes. He was there in ten minutes on the DOT, just like he promised. Now how often do you find that - a driver that keeps their word? Best of all, he was VERY kind and supportive of me - I was a mess because of my kitty. (She had a stroke.) He told me about his VERY fascinating life, too. (Ask him to show you pictures of the hotel in Ghana!) He's reliable, smart, kind, and a very hard worker. As you can tell from my long-winded review (sorry.), it was quite the inspirational cab ride! :) So, why not 5 stars? Well, the lady dispatcher was...uh...not the nicest. :P I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but she was pretty short with me. Almost rude, even. One star down! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Back in May, a Kwik Cab driver quoted me 15 dollars for a two block trip. It was late and unseasonably windy and cold, so I said fine, despite the fact that 15 dollars was unreasonable for the distance we would be traveling. When we arrived, he said it would be 15 dollars and I handed him my card to pay. After paying, he handed me back my card and became very rude, telling my friends and I we needed to leave his cab immediately. I said to him, out loud, "so you dont want a tip?" and he said no and told us to get the hell out of his cab. He never gave me a receipt. I figured he was tired and just wanted to go home, but hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. The next morning, I get a text alert from my bank saying my balance was below 25 dollars. Turns out, the cab driver had charged me 150 DOLLARS and then given him a 25% tip, bringing the total amount he charged me to 187 dollars. I immediately called Kwik Cab to let them know what had happened and they told me that there was nothing they could do because the driver had used a Square for the transaction and I had hailed him not called him. They told me to take it up with my bank. If it really is true that they have no way of finding out who this driver is, then that is irresponsible and a horrible way to run a business. What kind of company doesn't have measures in place to keep track of their employees on duty? Not only that, but they knowingly did NOTHING to help find the driver who stole my money. There is currently a man out there driving for Kwik Cab who will steal your money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!! read more

The day after our taxi ride, I checked my bank account and noticed my charge was $20 more than it should have been. I was able to look up the receipt online only to find out that our taxi driver had given himself a $20 tip on my debit card. There is no way to get my money back, and I am left feeling utterly disappointed in this company. I would not recommend this cab company, but if you do find yourself using this company, be sure to note your driver's name and taxi number in case this happens to you. Otherwise, the company cannot help you. read more
