Do not shop here. The website prices do not match the in store price and the employees, store…read moremanager and corporate office do not care. The price in the store was 71% higher than the web price and they did not care. They made excuses that they there are too many prices to change all the time. I called and asked that the manager call me. The associate who answered the phone interrogated me wanting to know the reason and other details. When I asked simply to talk to the manager she said finally that she would give him the message. Of course he did not call back. They do not care about the customer.

This is a fairly standard Kwiktrip. They have a carwash that is actually pretty decent. It is not a…read moretouch free one however but I don't care I still like it. It's at the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 12 so it's very busy at times. It's well staffed it's clean the bathrooms are nice. They have the new "set your pressure" air compressor that works great, which takes the guesswork out of filling up your tires and you're not to keep stopping and checking with the tire pressure gauge. Other than that they have the usual things that you expect at Kwiktrip fresh coffee no charge ATM, etc.

But there just seems to be something about this particular place. Maybe it is the nostalgia (I used to stop here on my way to/from college and home - 1/2 way marker of sorts), or maybe it is just the friendly service. I'd like to say, of all my travels through here, I've found this to be a nice stop. All convenience stores are pricey, that is just the way it is. But the staff is friendly, and the area generally clean. It is always nice to go somewhere where the attendant smiles and doesn't just take your money. And the last time I was there was no exception. Now that the freeway allows you to pretty much skip downtown Chippewa Falls I tend to pass right by, kind of like Radiator Springs in Cars - and many real places on good ol' Route '66. Take your time. Stop and smell the... gas pumps? :)

THE BREAD SITUATION: The artisanal rosemary sourdough loaf from One Love Bread is the stuff boy bands are made of. This bread is basically what happens if you roll Harry Styles in flour and water. It really deserves its own Manchester disco-dancing fan club, but for now I'll just sing its praises. DAIRY AND DAIRY ALTERNATIVES: I was totally NSYNC with this section.
