His treatment plan was $6,000 out of pocket. I called Westnedge Family Dentistry for a second opinion. They got me in the next morning. I was extremely impressed with the staff. I saw Dr. Mason. He assessed the bridge and my mouth and cemented it back in (no crack). I was so happy and was there approx. 1/2 hour, and, there was no charge because my insurance covered it. Dr. Mason and staff are wonderful. I'm so glad I made that phone call that saved me $6,000 and gave me a new dental practice. I highly recommend.

The dental hygienists and front desk staff are friendly, gentle, and kind. Dr. Allen is very personable and helps you understand what is going on in your mouth. The new building is really gorgeous. I was lucky enough to go there once after they redid it a few years back. It's very homey feeling. I really miss being a patient there, but I've since moved out of state and cannot drive to Kzoo just for a dentist appointment! I like that they still have the 'no cavity club' - of course these days all the pictures are digital and on the website - when I was a kid they took a polaroid of us and pinned it up in the waiting room. :) If you're lucky enough to go to Dr. Allen, I envy you!

I searched and made three consultations with three different orthodontists and Dr. Hallgren was one of my first appointments. He was so thorough with his exam, took detailed notes/measurements and most importantly, he answered all the questions that I had. He explained possible options and set expectations. After leaving that appointment, I felt confident that I can trust his abilities in addressing my treatment needs. The next day, I cancelled all the other appointments and decided to start my treatment plan with Dr. Hallgren. One year later and I am still happy with my treatment and the progress my teeth had made so far. Additionally, Dr. Hallgren has the best staff!! they're all very friendly and professional. I had times when one bracket fell off and needed to be re-attached, that was never a problem. The staff was always accommodating and made sure I was able to come in as soon as possible to get it taking care off. They always made me feel welcomed! They give you a warm neck pillow for while you are getting your teeth cleaned! They are even doing a promotion right now that if they like their Facebook they will give you a free fluoride treatment!! The dental hygienists are very friendly and kind! They will work with you to do what is best for you and at an affordable cost! They talk to you but don't ask you a ton of questions while they have tools in your month. The dentists are nice and quick! Don't prolong your visit by making your wait. They are kind and give you a lot of positive feedback instead of critiquing you. There is a tv and radio for you to pay attention to if you want. And every room feels pretty secluded, so you don't need feel as vulnerable as at other dentist offices I have been to. The real selling point to me was the warm neck pillow! I just can't praise them enough for this ingenious idea!! I will definitely continue to come to this dentist office as long as I live in the Kalamazoo area!!
