The guys at ATA are local Lee's Summit guys (which means a lot to me) and since i'm not a financial guru, they explained things very clearly and simple for my wife and I to understand. It's truly a one stop shop as they cover FINANCES, INVESTMENTS, TAXES, INSURANCE, and Mid-American Mortgage to boot. I'm not a big fish by any means but they value my business and are always a phone call away. On tax preparation, for two years in a row their assistant did not copy our FM 1095-A which resulted in letters from the IRS both years. The first year was over a $1200 mistake. The second year my wife visited the office with the IRS letter. Lyall and his relative were out on vacation. When Lyall called back the next week, he accused my wife of threatening them based on words his assistant said and instructed her to never come to the office again and refused to address the IRS letter. His relative Jason continued the unprofessional attitude by indicating we were at fault for the mistake of his assistant not copying the form. The unprofessional and aggressive behavior resulted in us handling the IRS letter ourselves despite them preparing our taxes. Utilize them at your own risk.
