We had a very uneventful arrival at CPH. I say this because everything appeared to be so calm and orderly from the minute we got off the plane. There are clear directions and paths that guide you to passport control and baggage claim. The restrooms are clean. I think I was mostly impressed with how quiet it was outside at the rideshare pickup point. The vehicles in this city mostly run on electricity. Even their public buses are 100% electric. It's just something that was very noticeable to us throughout our stay in Copenhagen. It deserves a mention. I can't really rate it higher than 4 stars since it was an arrival with no departure. We didn't stay at the airport long enough to experience what it has to offer. I'll update this review if we ever find ourselves at CPH again in the future. read more

Copenhagen Airport isn't the best airport I've flown through, but it's also not the worst! Our experience after landing was less than ideal. Getting through customs took a long time because there were only two agents processing passports for non-EU citizens. Signage wasn't great. And the only bathrooms we found on the way out were two dingy single occupancy ones. At least getting between the airport and the city was quite smooth. The metro goes right up to the airport, and Copenhagen just has a terrific public transportation system. When we returned for our departure, getting through security was slow. Liquids have to be taken out of bags, jackets and hats come off, and security agents open up a fair amount of bags (maybe from people not following protocol). And getting through outbound customs was again slow. We got stuck for 10 minutes behind two guys who were apparently having passport issues, while the adjacent line was moving normally. A worker let people behind us get into a different line but she basically ignored us until we got her attention. Inside the terminal, things were better. There are some cool shops including a LEGO store. Bathroom placement is okay, but the bathrooms in the high traffic areas didn't have urinals and could use more stalls. The free WiFi was reliable, and each gate seems to have a long table with power outlets and USB charging. There are also several airport lounges, including a couple that take Priority Pass. The wife hit up the Aspire lounge using her Priority Pass and said it was quite nice. I have to take her word for it since I don't have my own membership! Overall, Copenhagen Airport is an okay place to fly through. Part of our poor experience was due to bad luck, but a lot of it could've been improved with better processes. read more

There are however two specific reviews (both from Denmark) that I have been sitting on a while to try and process before posting. This is one of them. Our experience at Copenhagen Airport (Air France) was incredibly disappointing. We were trying to arrange for wheelchair assistance for an older family member and the staff member overseeing the situation was dismissive, impatient, and just straight up rude. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience rather than travelers needing assistance. What made the situation even more upsetting was watching the same staff member immediately become warm, smiley, and eager to help a local traveler who arrived just moments later. The contrast in treatment was impossible to ignore and left us questioning whether we were treated differently because we were foreigners, our family member's age, or both? Every traveler deserves to be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect (especially those requiring mobility assistance, not to mention the elderly). The way we were treated fell far below what I would have expected from an international airport. read more

I'd like this airport so much more if the passport control wasn't so chaotic. Truly, I'm shocked to have experienced an hour wait to get through passport control when I landed. Insane! I've never been to an airport in Europe where it was this bad, but unfortunately at Copenhagen, such is the case. I landed in Copenhagen from Seattle and then as I was following the signs to exit, I saw that a bunch of people were just standing in the middle of the pathway, to only realize that they were in line to get through passport control. It was a mob of people, trying to get through and you had to ask everyone in line if this was the line to get through security since there were multiple lines that just all jumbled together. There has to be a more efficient and better way to get through passport security. I was told by airport staff that this is the new norm for them as they do not have enough passport enforcement officers. Yikes. Knowing this in mind, I made sure to get to the Copenhagen Airport early for my flight home, to get through security. And of course there was an issue with my flight being cancelled, so trying to find anyone who worked for Scandinavian Airlines was a challenge. I basically waited an hour to find any SAS staff member who could help me book another flight back to the U.S. So that was another hiccup. But honestly other than those issues, the airport itself is quite nice and easy to navigate with a lot of cool stores and eateries that are only found in Denmark. I also love that the transit system from the airport is easy to use and gets you directly to the city center. That is a win. But the passport control issue really needs to be addressed, given how busy this airport is. read more

Super clean restrooms with a walk in mall with food court no worries with need coffee? 7/11 vending machines everywhere. Thank God for the tap tap pay and I thought I would never say it but its stress free less hassle make sure everything is on your phone. Yes e wallet otherwise I stayed over the night. I made a new buddy her name is Aurora. We made it ok cat sleeping with USB chargers charging all night. No weirdos just some random staff. The airport eventually does close or goes to sleep for about 4 hours. Then slowly you hear life again. I traveled alone and the airport was pretty lite up not obnoxiously but just right. In one point I found people with laptops just waiting for flights. Lots of spots to have a smoke and its a runway show with all the beautiful fur coats. So enjoy the good eye candy. I went to France with my mom and two small children, but we flew SAS and traveled through Copenhagen both ways. I'd been to Copenhagen before and had only vague memories of the airport, but we ended up spending a lot of time here on layovers this trip, definitely long enough to develop some opinions. Food options weren't great and we left the Carlsberg Aviator lounge within minutes, when we realized the kids were going to be a problem. That was after a hellish eleven-hour evening flight from Los Angeles, and my three-year-old son was completely loopy, irascible but also full of high-wire energy. I desperately looked up kid-friendly things to do in the Copenhagen airport and was pleased to find there were two indoor play areas. We went to both of them between our two layovers, and they were attractive in what felt like a Scandinavian way, wooden and well built and designed. They were good for some solid stretches of entertainment, though I admit my three-year-old got stuck up in a climbable "control tower" and I let him rot there while I sat and played games on my phone. The rest of the airport was nice, too, and the place seemed to run pretty smoothly. There were tons of small bathrooms, maybe even one at each gate, a system I hadn't seen before. Our flight out was through the E gates, which were somewhat remote, and that part of the airport was super quiet. No shopping and the only food option I found was a vending machine where I bought, of all things, a chicken teriyaki onigiri. Thankfully, one of the two play areas was right by our gate, and my boys passed the time going down a little slide and pretending to steer a stationary boat. I'd never recommend getting stuck at this or any airport with my children, but the Copenhagen airport was about as pleasant as it could've been, given the circumstances. Whenever I travel to Europe I'm always amazed at the airports.. I find myself saying " Gee, I wish JFK was like this... or the aesthetic of the airport is beautiful or it's so organized, etc". The Copenhagen Airport, CPH, is a marvel to me; its design is so unique and walking around I didn't feel as if I'm in an airport. Here are some raves about this airport: 1. Copenhagen & southern Sweden-area airport for regional & international flights, plus train links 2. SAS airlines is main hub for Copenhagen and it is based in Terminal 3. When I arrived at this terminal, my transfer to Metro was seamless. The yellow line, M2, is the main line to get to airport and for me, to City Center. The Metro runs @every ten minutes. Every Metro in Copenhagen has a map that is so easy to follow that I feel I am a local vs. tourist. However, the ticket machine to buy my Metro card was a bit challenging. I was happy to see a DSB agent to assist. My Capital One card switched from Mastercard to Discover ( let me tell you that in Copenhagen, Mastercard and Visa are the two main credit cards accepted. I had such a headache with Capital One. A story for another review).Luckily, I had krone to purchase the City Pass which offers unlimited travel on the metro, buses, and trains within specific zones. For my arrival I purchased a one day(small) City Pass for 100 krone or $15 dollars. 3. Shopping: A plethora of beautiful stores from Marimekko :), Lowe, Longchamp, Ecco, Georg Jensen, and Tax Free, to name a few. 4. Dining: one can find fancy, Bistro Sommelier, to Danish, Lagkagehuset( Fawn, fave) to Burger King. 5. Passport Control: Very fast, well organized line to get through. 6. Sustainability: "Since the 1980s, we have worked towards reducing our impacts within areas such as noise and pollution. Additionally, we have worked on improving air quality.." 7. Scheduled Airlines: "Copenhagen Airport handles around 60 scheduled airlines, and has a maximum operation capability of 83 operations/hour, and a total of 108 jet bridges" 8. Design: "The terminal was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, who was considered a pioneer among architects and his firm has designed many subsequent terminals and spaces" 9. Customer Service: I found it to be superior from finding information on Copenhagen Card ( purchase digitally), to when is best time to go to Passport Control ( I was 3 hours early before departure to NYC) to spotless bathrooms. 10. My wish: NYC really needs to continue learning from abroad. I know JFK is undergoing "a massive, multi-billion dollar redevelopment (around $19 billion) to replace its outdated terminals with modern, unified facilities, including new Terminal 1 and Terminal 6, new roadways with a "ring road" system, improved AirTrain, and better infrastructure, aiming to create a world-class airport." I will keep my fingers crossed because flying should be an enjoyable experience not a hassle. JFK has a lot of work to do.. ALOT! Summary: CPH is an absolutely wonderful airport. Fast tracking airport here. We did not need to take our shoes off here. Just place liquids up 100 ml in a clear bag, which the airport provides! You will walk through scanners and if needed, be asked to participate in a secondary screening. No facial recognition devices here. No Global entry or TSA line here that we observed. There was a fast track but I did not know the name. No bottled water or other liquids allowed into the airport. You may refill your reusable water bottle within the airport, next to the bathrooms. Duty free /tax free shopping here. Just show your airline ticket to cashier. This is a fast moving airport. Clean and efficient. read more

Leaving to Los Angeles on Night 9: Arrived at the airport station more than 3 hours before my scheduled departure, taking about 35 minutes from downtown Copenhagen. It was about a 5 minute indoor walk from the station to the main landside area of Terminal 3. I found the Sky Priority baggage check for SAS with no line, and got my bags checked very quickly, so it was a good start. I had noticed a SAS Fast Track sign before, so followed that since 'Fast Track' had been printed on my boarding pass, and hoping it was similar to Pre-Check. It wasn't. Laptops needed to be taken out completely. And things like a belt and apple watch set-off the detectors. Got flagged for all of it. And then I got selected to get a full luggage check (yeah, I was that guy), with the security officer going through each and every pocket in my luggage in my presence. He was pleasant enough about it, making chit-chat about the weather, Denmark being the most happiest place on Earth, etc. After it was finished, I carefully put everything back and was very careful not to miss anything. I went to the lounge and left about 40 minutes before scheduled boarding...but I had a brain cramp, not comprehending that I still had to go through passport control. I had seen a long line before I entered the lounge, but hadn't put 2 and 2 together, just assuming the line didn't apply to me. Yeah, I felt foolish. It was long enough that from where you enter, you can't see the passport control. There were two lines for non-EU passports, so chose the one on the left. I noticed right away that my line was moving about twice as slow as the other. The end (which you couldn't initially see) had 4 manned passport booths...so you would think, each inital line would result in choice of two booths. Nope...since nobody official was manning the section where the 2 initial lines ended, the masses had decided that the left line only fed into Booth 1, and the right line fed into booth 3 and 4. Booth 2 was being used by both left and right lines. There is a fix for this, but the cones weren't set-up that way. And the security/airport folks didn't think it was an issue, letting it continue. That whole process ended up taking more than 50 minutes, and since the gate was a pretty good jaunt from the entrance, I was a little out of breath by the time I got to the departure gate. The one benefit was that I was able to board right away, since boarding had started 15 minutes before. And there was still plenty of overhead space. I love visiting new airports, and even though my experience wasn't the smoothest, I'm glad that I know a bit more about how to navigate this place. It's especially important since SAS seems to have the best value tickets to Europe from LA, and all of those go through CPH. read more

Travelled through CPH many times over the years. The amount of shopping, business lounge and eating options have increased. Never had a bad experience in and out of passport or customs. Transfers to other flights have also been easy to locate and get to. English is well spoken by almost all of the Danish population. During the summer the airport can be packed with travelers so be kind to others :-) Located on an island (true for most of the Danish population) it is the Nordic countries' largest airport, It is one of the oldest international airports in Europe, the fourth-busiest in Northern Europe, and the busiest for international travel in Scandinavia. :-) read more

Dates of visit: May 23 + May 30, 2025 A great place to have a longer layover, and if you have five hours or more, you can leave the airport relatively easily between flights. You'll find luggage lockers in the parking garage right outside of Terminal 2, with options for partial day storage. Then you can head back in and grab a train ticket near that terminal. In 15 minutes or so you'll be in the heart of Copenhagen. I will admit that the airport can be a bit confusing, partially on account of its size. But the signs are in multiple languages and there are staff to help you. And let's not forget the massive opportunities for shopping here, with multiple LEGO stores, a mix of high-end and mainstream brands, and a wide variety of restaurants, too! Unlike many other airports, CPH has me wanting to go back to Copenhagen to explore both the airport and the city further. read more

A huge, great airport with everything you need for a long layover. More quiet spaces with benches missing handles to lay relatively comfortably (although lights come on at the slightest movement, so if you're sensitive to light, it's not great for a nap/sleep). There are plenty of places to grab a snack, a meal, and grab & go supplies for your layover/flight. We loved the small play areas for children interspersed throughout several terminals, giving time to stretch legs, play and engage with other children before flights. The shopping is also unlike any other - so many things to look at, buy and peruse as you await or make your way from one gate to the next. The airport is HUGE, likely one of the largest we have ever been in, easily taking 15-20 minutes to walk between gates for connections. Prepare and give yourself plenty of time. read more

Not my preferred international airport when in Scandinavia but most flights go through this airport. It's quite large. The one thing you need to be cautious about is that there is passport control to other countries. You must account for this step. So many people enter this slow moving line and get nervous because they need to get to their gate. Even if you're coming from a Schengen area to another Schengen area, you still go through here. Luckily their signs let you know if you do have to go through a passport control area and gives you an estimate on time. But, account for this step when booking your tickets. The food options are plentiful but sometimes slow based on the amount of people. There is a rather large Scandinavian Airlines lounge in the middle of the terminal read more

This summer, we flew through CPH three times on three different airlines. The arrival experience and border control were nothing unusual, and green-line customs functioned as we have experienced in other places. Getting to the Metro is easy, and well marked. The departure experience felt more chaotic. Many airlines use an electronic kiosk for automated baggage check labels (like Norwegian Air). Others do not (like American Airlines, for which you just keep walking all the way to the "right" side of Terminal 3 for departure desks). We couldn't figure out in advance which was which. From check in through security, there is the familiar but uncomfortable feeling of being in a cattle chute, and hoping the line you're in leads to a good place. read more

The Copenhagen airport is pretty easy to navigate with three terminals that interconnect. The signs are clear and there is plenty of dining options. My favorite is Hallernes for open-faced sandwiches. There is also Lagkagehuset bakery at multiple locations to pick up local bread to munch on if you have a long flight. Wireless phone chargers are available throughout the airport, which is great for international travelers who do not wish to take out their charger, converter, and cords -- this is a great idea. read more

We flew out of Kobenhavns twice during our stay in Denmark and these experiences were quite different. The airport was conveniently connected to Copenhagen Central Station via its own train station. Each way took roughly 15 minutes and cost just 22.40DKK using the Rejsekort app (no paper ticket needed, swipe on then off at each station and fare calculated automatically). Alternatively it can be reached via bus or roughly US$50 Uber. Self checkin was the primary method used in this airport along with self baggage drop off. Luckily no issues on both trips. What broke down and frustrated us was the security lines. Our first trip was a mid-morning departure. That day was a zoo and took more than 45 minutes to clear security. Line extended all the way to the escalator up from checkin and people kept cutting in since no security was directing the flow of people to the proper end of the line. Even the fast track line was backed up though seemed to flow a little faster. Staffing really needs to be increased. Every time a bin was pulled aside for additional screening they kept piling up as the one security person couldn't keep up. Pretty soon the they stopped screening when there was no more room to pile up the bins. Our 2nd morning flight later that week was a breeze in comparison and we cleared everything in just 10 minutes. However, we did not like having to get up so early for that flight just. read more

The Good, The Bad & The WTF: Arrival from Bergen was easy & signage was clear. We walked to our airport hotel & took the M2 in for our departure a few days later. LOVE the metro! Departure is where things went wonky. After exiting the metro, we begin the process of searching for a kiosk with DL options on our way to the security checkpoint. After being directed to the few kiosks in a different area that have DL, we scan our passports (to avoid at gate verification requirements) & get paper boarding passes. We head to the security checkpoint to get in & the boarding passes won't scan because the ink is too light. We're advised by very kind & apologetic staff to go back to the kiosk area and hit the DL desk up for new passes with readable ink (why don't they have darker ink in the kiosks?) - thankfully, we had coffee in the AM & remembered we had the app. Popped it open & scanned in. Whew! Note: at this point you should get food/drinks cuz the options drop significantly at the next stage. On to passport control where we encounter one of, if not THE rudest worker I've ever encountered in travel. She was mentioned in other reviews as well, it HAS to be the same person. Someone tell her about the happiness guarantee or give her a beer, cuz dang - she was seriously on a rampage & put out by our mere existence as well as the people before and after us... maybe just fire her. Ugh. All in all, this process was quick, though off-putting. Once on the other side, food/ drink options drop & you're steps from your gate. No water fill stations, which seems odd & limited seating. We hopped the metro at 630a, 1 stop to the airport & were at our gate with plenty of time to grab a bite before our 9am flight home. In summary: easy to access by foot/public transportation, weird layourlt/unclear signage on departure check-in, weak ink in kiosks, nice staff except 1 power-tripping passport control agent, limited seating at gates, no water fill, light on options inside passport control. Great for arrivals tho! [Note: several hotels in walking distance but metro may still be better option d/t stairs on path] read more

Copenhagen Airport is a bit like stepping into a Scandinavian design catalog--sleek lines, blonde wood, and an uncanny ability to make you feel both calm and slightly lost at the same time. The signage is clear enough... until you try to leave. That's where the real Nordic puzzle begins: the train is a train, but the metro is also a train, except it's not the train you thought it was. It's the kind of riddle a Viking sphinx might pose: Which train is not the train, but is still a train? Once you've solved that little Danish brain teaser, the rest is smooth sailing. The airport is efficient, the staff are friendly, and the pastries taste like butter and poetry had a baby. Just remember: if in doubt, ask yourself--am I heading for "tog" or "metro"? And then maybe ask a human. All in all, a clean and well-run gateway to Copenhagen, with just enough confusion to make you feel like you've earned your arrival. read more

Transited in CPH the other week and it was a decent experience. As CPH was my first port of entry to the Schengen area, I had to go through passport control which took ~5-10 minutes. There was a cursory questioning on the duration of my stay while my passport was stamped. The layout of CPH is a touch bizarre where gates are merely announced within a couple hours of departure. With that said, there is a cluster of passengers in the main "holding area" waiting for the gates to be announced. Interestingly enough, this is also the area where the flagship SAS carrier lounge is located along with numerous eateries, bakeries, and convenience stores. The walk to the wings can be quite long with less food and toilet options. Boarding on flights within Schengen was almost fully automated based upon signs and kiosks with no ID checks. I did find the terminal to be quite warm, which may be cultural. Flying into CPH was quick and easy as the train is connected to the airport and is fully automated. Make sure to use the app to "swipe in" before boarding. Flying out of CPH was also quick and easy with Fast Track security. I was done with security within minutes and was in the lounge shortly thereafter. read more

I see some people talking about this being a busy airport. It seemed pretty tame to me. We liked the food options, though were quick to steer away from the American joint, as we didn't come to Europe to eat bad American food. (Just kidding. Kinda.) I got a BBQ Chicken wrap out of a 7-11 vending machine that was probably better than any food you would get out of a vending machine in the US these days. We also, and more interestingly, went to Union Kitchen (which doesn't seem to have their airport location on Yelp), where my wife had a great falafel salad and I had a spicy chicken salad. This is now my favorite airport. I came here for the holidays and found this airport to be hassle free and very easy to navigate. When I arrived, easy signs to immigration and I was out of the airport after collecting my bag within 30min, if not quicker. Our bags were already waiting for us by the time we made it to baggage claim. There's a 7-11 and a Joe and the Juice right before immigration. Once you get out, lots of options to eat at the airport, I was in Terminal 2 and was able to take the Metro easiluly into the city in Terminal 3. All very simple. Car rental also easy to find, shuttle bus right outside of Terminal 2 and schedule tells you when it will arrive. Departing the airport was also smooth, the VAT refund counters are between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 before security. Pretty quick security clearance and would recmmend getting food before you clear immigration. I made the mistake thinking more options would be past immigration and while there were a few, you had way more prior to immigration. Overall, a very easy, exceptionally functional, low key airport. Just my style. Hopefully I'll be back one day as I love Denmark! read more

Big international airport that does a lot of things well but falls short on a few. Security is super fast, passport control was super fast. Lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, etc:.. Zero water fountains and/or a place to fill a water bottle. Gates are roped off until boarding meaning that there is no place to sit while you wait.. there are a few benches in the hallway, that's it. The Copenhagen airport is...super odd. In my eyes, I view Copenhagen as a pretty major city, BUT this airport is so small and seemingly so...empty?? It was a bit jarring to note that as I arrived in Copenhagen and was navigating through the airport. I basically just had to navigate using signs and I hardly saw a single employee on my way out of the airport. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't have time to figure out public transportation to and from the airport, aside from knowing how significant of a price difference it would be. So I would highly recommend you look into public transit to and from CPH because taking a taxi from the airport to the city center, which is not even a 15 minute drive and like 6-7 miles of distance, cost $50 one way (I'm deceased). That's simply insane and completely not worth it if you have the time to figure out public transportation, it was just poor planning on my part! So beware of that. The primary reason I give CPH 3 stars though is upon LEAVING Copenhagen through this airport. For some reason, CPH has a very strict rule when it comes to your toiletries and how all your products (lotions, creams, gels, sprays, toothpaste, cleansers, etc.) must fit into this one 1L bag (per person) that you have to cram all your toiletries into once you enter the security line. They fail to mention this *clearly* as you're checking in to your flight. They note that it's only listed in the FINE PRINT, so how are you supposed to know and be able to plan in advance for this before getting to the airport? The signs around the plastic bags are also not clear on what you need to do, so my friend and I just skipped over those stations because we figured that was for people who hadn't brought their toiletries in a clear case to begin with. It wasn't until we were putting our items onto the conveyor belt that the security person was asking for our toiletries and how we needed to step off to the side to switch them into their bags. It was extremely frustrating because this is not a rule genuinely anywhere else I had flown on my trip thus far, so I naturally had not paid attention to just how many toiletries I had brought in and it naturally then could not all fit into the 1L bag. If I had come in with more than 1L of toiletries, how was I expected to leave with less after just an overnight in Copenhagen?! I ended up having to toss things like my toothpaste, opting to borrow my friends, and stuff many of my items into her bag too which had a bit more space. It was just frustrating because it was super subjective as well depending on how strict your security agent was. Some people literally had their bags full to the brim, unable to be zipped up, tons of stuff peeking out, and agents would let them through, while others were requiring that the bag needed to be zipped up. It was true chaos and extremely frustrating to encounter and so I needed to discuss it in major detail here so that all could be aware before flying out of CPH - so please take note! read more

We absolutely loved this airport. We arrived in the evening and left in the evening, but the beautiful designs, floors and walls really made our arrival to Copenhagen memorable! Plan ahead so you don't need to pay for a taxi to the city center. Take the metro or train (see below). There is simply just a different vibe at this airport compared to LHR or AMS, all good, but this one is calming. With only 8 km to the center of Copenhagen, it's easy to get to and from the airport. Depending on which form of transportation you prefer, it will take between 13 and 35 minutes to travel the distance. Copenhagen Airport was founded in 1925, it's the biggest and busiest airport in Scandinavia. It contains 3 terminals. Terminal 1 only handles a few national flights, and most international flights will be from Terminal 2 or 3 - so will most national flights, and those going to Greenland and the Faroe Islands. All international arrivals will be in Terminal 3. In the area between Terminal 2 and 3, you'll find luggage storage and customs. On the "airside" of the airport, you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and services. It's all gathered in one big area making it easy for you to get to, no matter if you're travelling from Terminal 2 or 3. In the same way, it's easy to access the gates, which are all connected to the area. DSB is the Danish national rail operator, running services to national and international destinations. DOT is the operator of urban and suburban transport in Copenhagen including buses, the Metro and the S-Train, which is the urban rapid transit rail system. The train station at Copenhagen Airport is underneath Terminal 3. For the station, follow the signs for the train and take the escalator down to either platform 1 or 2, depending on your destination. Trains to Copenhagen Central Station, Nørreport, Østerport, Helsingør, Fyn and Jylland depart from Platform 2 and run every ten minutes during the day. At night there are one to three trains per hour. The journey time from the airport to Central Station is around thirteen minutes. read more

This was the worst experience I've had with an airport. No sense of urgency, all the airlines baggage check was open around 4am even though the website states 3am and British Airways didn't start helping customers until 4:45am. The worst part is no employee had a straight answer for us when we asked when the baggage check would be opened or when we would be helped out. If I can avoid this airport at all costs for future flights, I will. read more

I cannot wait to come back to Københavns, our first time flying into this airport going through customs was so easy and fast. There are a lot of little restaurants, vending machines and seating to wait for outgoing flights and everyone was so friendly. When we flew back to London the process was so easy, I had purchased check in bags and it was so easy to do the self service bag check in. I swear if this happened in LAX it would be so chaotic but it was like well oiled machine here. Don't forget to get your Denish Hotdog before you leave, I dream about it still. read more

Nice, clean, big and busy airport with tons of food and shopping options. The seats at the gate and all around the airport are very limited so people have to sit on the floor as well. The gates are usually not announced until 1hour before departure so it could be a problem due to long walk to the gates. read more

Incoming flight - Out of the terminal, onto metro (second floor), ate locally, came back. Terminal 3 check in security does not have any signs. None, zip, nada, jack squat. It's currently being shared by Terminal 2, how would you know if you are not a local? You don't, you would just go around in circle until you talk to a staff. BTW, it's up the escalator to the right, away from Burger King. Outbound flight - It was a late flight in at 10:30pm, and everything was closed. I MEANT EVERYTHING, short of the transfer and handicap service and one lone mid concourse convenance store, it was just dead. We got on the metro, went to the hotel to sleep. Be prepared to get lost from lack of signs and ask the staff where to go. It's also a pretty spread out airport with no people movers, so do plan to walk around with enough time. read more

Kid and family friendly, modern, clean, organized, and beautiful. It's also not a huge airport so it's easy to manage and get to gates. The trains take you directly to the airport so it's convenient. Just one thing ... not many charging stations. These days we are all wired with devices and it's so helpful to have many charging stations. There are 2 priority pass lounges. The staff speak at least 3 languages and are friendly. read more

Absolute disaster. 20 minute line for checking a boarding pass, 30 minute line for security (they care about the liquids in the bags and all electronics out and stuff) and another 1 hour long line for exit emigration! We repeatedly asked for assistance since our flight was boarding (figured 3 hours was enough time...) and were repeatedly told no, that once our plane boarding closes, they would call us up. Still a 10 minute speediest speed walk to the actual gate. Barely made it and rude staff were the cherry on top. read more
