This poor Castle has been through hell I got sold nine different times. It was even a school at one time. And one time it got bombed. But some nice guy ended up buying it and restored it and it is absolutely gorgeous. I must see if you are in this area. There's a cafe at the castle if you get hungry or thirsty and also Cafe at the very top. Cost for two people $50 American money. We stay here about 4 hours. Down at the bottom is the city of koenig's winter a great little town with shops and cafes

Not knowing what to expect, we spend first money in an excellent giftshop before entering the castle. What a nice place. A lovely location with great views, nice furniture and wall paintings, but, above all, fantastic stained glass windows. A great place to visit.
