The first visit was great. A supervisor Lady saw that I was handicapped and was waiting a long…read moretime. She got me in to see a worker right away. Second time I was there, I waited 3 hours and saw all the people that I was in line with that was behind me,go ahead of me and I was left. My number never showed up on the screen and No one called out my number. I made sure I was in front of the screen and didn't even go to the bathroom of fear of missing my number. Finally, I got up to ask one of the workers by the door and and asked how far I was in the que? He told me my number was called already! I said, NO, it was NOT. I told him I watched for 3 hours in front of the screen and I was never called. He called a supervisor man to come help and he, took my number ticket and I was told to go back and sit down. I waited and waited and the supervisor never came back to me. I asked where he went and was told he said he would come back. He never did. I finally saw the sweet lady supervisor and asked her to help. She finally assured me me that she would get my number called again and to listen for it. Another 1/2 hour and finally I was called and it only took 5 minutes with a case worker. Almost 4 hours in pain as I can't sit for too long, both legs go numb and buldging discs in my lower back and neck were throbbing. I can't stand for too long either. I have a ankle impingement, and plantars fasciitis in both feet and sciatica. It was a bad day for me to wait that long . I don't know why but they have done this to a few people that was there too and I was one of them. I over heard some of the workers complaining about customers and some being rude to customers who don't speak English so well and be condescending towards them and belittling them. Such rudeness should cease. The one women who is kind, and making sure everyone is being taken care of was the supervisor . She was very understanding, spoke kindly to everyone. I know you all see some crazy people up in there but, you should do your best to speak and talk kindly towards others. Get off your cell phones and always be ready with a kind face and be helpful. Thats the job you signed up for. If you continue to complaine, maybe you should look for another job. We need a system of people who want to help others.

The incident involved an Asian deputy (identified as Deputy Lang) and a white male deputy (described as approximately 5'7", 200 lbs, with blonde hair and sunglasses). ​While Deputy Lang conducted himself in a smart, professional, and courteous manner, the conduct of his partner--the blonde male deputy riding in the passenger seat--was entirely unacceptable and fell severely short of the standards expected of the department. ​My specific grievances regarding the passenger deputy include: ​Refusal to Identify: When requested, the deputy refused to provide his name and badge number, which is a direct violation of standard department policy regarding public accountability. ​Negligent Demeanor: The deputy was not wearing his seatbelt either before or after our interaction, demonstrating a blatant disregard for basic safety laws and vehicle codes that he is sworn to enforce. ​Dismissal of a Serious Threat: I attempted to report a life-threatening situation, to which the deputy dismissively stated that he "did not have time" and told me not to "waste his time." ​As a tax-paying resident, I expect a basic standard of quality, urgency, and professionalism from public safety officers--especially when life-threatening matters are being reported. The lazy and dismissive attitude displayed by this individual is a liability to the community and a disservice to the professional standards demonstrated by his partner, Deputy Lang. ​I request that Internal Affairs investigate this matter, identify the passenger deputy assigned to Deputy Lang during this shift, and take appropriate disciplinary action. Well, it took me a couple of hours to complete everything needed, I think this is fair because I did not come prepared with all the paperwork filled out if I had I think I would've been out in less than an hour maybe even less than 30 minutes. I would also like to say that at first it's a little frustrating because there's not a line you can walk directly to, but then upon second glance, the check-in system and the exceptionally kind gentlemanly receptionist was super helpful and would put you in queue for exactly where you needed to go. I actually found this rather efficient. Furthermore, everyone was extremely helpful with anything that I lacked knowledge on. I got the permit and started the roofing project and everything has been going very smoothly and I'm just very impressed with I do about 100s a year all over Southern California so I experience. The last thing I would like to say was, I really quite had a great time at the office because the morning I was there it seems like the coordinators of the front office a couple of very kind ladies. It seemed to me like we're organizing the staff and having a kindly meeting about how best to operate, it seem very cordial and productive... Then in the middle of the meeting, some soup walked in, does seem like Very butt hurt. He wasn't invited to the meeting and made a big stink out of it, and it clearly made everyone extremely uncomfortable. They were trying to whisper, but it was pretty obvious though there was a ton of office drama going on... Listen, I don't know who's on the right side here, but I thought it was pretty funny and from my perspective, no matter who is right the "Suite made everyone super uncomfortable so I thought it was hilarious. Took about two-three business days. Pulled in, plenty of parking. It's a building close to the Willow DMV The nice person at the front desk told me where to go. The nice gal in the records office just asked me for my drivers license, I signed a paper and she gave me the new birth certificate. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes You can get new birth certificate for your child here until they are 5 years old. Then all records are transferred to the Norwalk office

Security guard asks questions like name and if you have any weapons, then leads you inside. Metal detector then wait for your name to be called. They have a screen with window numbers and customer numbers, but it didn't seem to update. They just called my name and which window, like the DMV. The young lady at my window was terrific, very friendly and personable. I needed to change my address which you can't do online or over the phone. She seemed surprised that this could only be done in person. Yes, it doesn't make sense to me either, but probably for security? After updating my address, she offered to print out a current copy of my social security statement which was very helpful. Overall it only took about 15-20 minutes to get in and out. I definitely recommend making an appointment although I did it a month ago, so if you need something faster, you may just need to wait in the walk-in line.

She tried to help me get connected to Long Beach. Waited 40 minutes and someone picks up from THOUSAND OAKS. I said to this person it's ridiculous that Long Beach is transferring to other locations because other locations can't help. When you are told you have to speak with your local office, you have to speak with your local office. Just waisting the day being put on hold and resolving nothing. They need to go back to the old way. If it's too busy the recording will say call back and the call is disconnected. That will help everyone not waisting their time to talk to someone who can't help them because it's not your local office.

The guy was nice but gave me no new information at all. He didn't even take me to his desk to start my application. I was let into the building but wasn't offered to take a seat or anything. He just asked if I had any questions about it and vaguely answered a few and told me to come back after seeing a doctor in case I had anything in my medical records that would pop up. It felt very unprofessional and pissed me off so much because I drove 45 mins during my work break to speak to a recruiter and start my enlistment process. If anyone wants a recruiter that will be helpful, I suggest going to a different location. Maybe it was just the guy I spoke to but I definitely didn't return to this location after that experience.
