Bait and switch! I told Austin exactly how many windows and sliding doors I have in my house. He gave me a quote, which I agreed to. But when he came out for the job, he briefly looked at some of the windows and told me he would have to adjust the price. For example, what I counted as one window, he counts as three because the window is a fixed pane with two adjacent sliding panes. At no point in our preliminary discussion did he instruct me how to count the windows or tell me the quote was subject to his inspection.
