Good food but way overpriced at dinnertime. I did like that they have veggie options and a nice terrace. Service is good.

Came to this fantastic little café with a colleague for lunch. Thankfully we were having a late…read morelunch (about 1pm) as we hadn't made reservations in advanced, and there was one table remaining for two. Definitely reserve in advance if you plan to eat here. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting. You feel as if you are in an intimate historic French bistro, thanks to the wood panelling and wall of antiquated black and white photographs. We each had the plat du jour, which that day was a club chicken sandwich which a couple of roasted potatoes and green salad. Everything was delicious down to the yummy dressing on the salad. The greens in the salad were so fresh it was if I had gone in the back yard to pick them. The service was also very friendly. I will definitely put this on my list of places to return to. Thankfully I also noticed a flyer on the counter advertising an English brunch that takes place here every Sunday (they emphasise that the also speak English in the advert). You need to make reservations in advance. They serve from 10:30- 15:30. To find out more check out the following website: www.lebrunchclub.com. Definitely count me in to try this in the near future.

We will be loyal to this place to our dying day. The owner is warm and friendly, a big contrast from other restaurants in a city that is often needlessly formal and impersonal. The restaurant is small and intimate, and has been increasingly busy in recent weeks. It's tucked away on a small side street, so the outdoor patio available during the summer is quiet and relaxed. They offer picnic basket lunches/dinners--call ahead and for the price of a meal you can take your picnic basket to the park, which is 2 blocks away. A wonderful and whimsical idea that I hope will take off. Entrees are relatively large and could suffice for a small main dish. Mains are well-portioned (meat and vegetarian dishes alike are good), and desserts are wonderful, especially if fruity. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients. If I have any complaints, they are minor: I wish they would keep more regular hours (during the week it's not a problem but on a Sunday or Monday it's best to call ahead) and they could rotate their menu more frequently (it changes once every month or two months). But both comments are a testament to how often we go--it's not their fault that we will pop in five times in a single month.
