I am a serious regular here. I found this place when I moved back from college after trying so many other nail salons in the area and never being satisfied with them all. It's been almost 8 years now and I swear by them. Sophea is amazing! She does my nails exclusively. But the whole staff there are amazing actually. Great pricing for anything you set your hearts content to & they're always upfront about it if you ask or have never been there before. Don't expect anything too fancy here. I am a bougie woman but sometimes those fancy nail salons can be too overwhelming or just too expensive for no reason. I am so impressed with this place! I walked in without an appointment on a Wednesday afternoon and was greeted/seated within minutes. I tried dip powder with tips and Chan did a great job. I can tell she was detail oriented. Making sure each length on one hand matched the other. When it didn't, she took her time to redo the nail that didn't match. I asked for round nails, and she ended up asking for help because it wasn't round enough. So I'm glad that she was kind enough to consult with another technician to help get the perfect shape. After reading the reviews I was excited about my first visit. I got the dipping powder and had tips put on to make my nails a little longer. Well, you can totally tell where the tip starts. I asked the lady to file one of the nails down because it was very obvious, and then when I left I realized they were all like that. I'm disappointed. I've been getting knitted while receiving pedicures and manicures by multiple nail technicians. Im not satisfied with the work being done here. I'm DONE! There is no way I'm giving this place more money to PRACTICE MANICURES on my nails. They claim they can do anything but are only relevant because ladies want a cheap gel polish. I also don't appreciate the price of my service being changed to a higher price as these Non professionals evaluated my clothing and jewelry. Is that how you base your upcharge??? Lastly, it is more than uncouth and of the upmost disrespect when you think I'm just some dumb English speaking American. These ladies did a fantastic job on my poor little toes. First off I am 9 Mos pregnant, so my feet haven't seen any love in quite some time. Another issue is that I was in the army so I wore combat boots daily and that permanently messed up some of my toenails. These ladies got out the grinder n went to town. Toes look great and feel great too! Bonus, I went ahead n had them do my eyebrows as well because another review said they did this well. They were right! I am a manager my self and would NEVER speak to a client this way. Some people should not be in the customer service industry! ... HERES MY PERSONAL REBIEW ABOUT YOU. I was asked to share my experience with everyone, I was trying to refrain From saying the terrible things about this place but I was asked to do so by the manager from her nasty comment so here it is. I have actually been to this nail salon before but the quality of the work was done poorly when I got my acrylic set. I figured I'd give this place another try because of the convenient location. Yes I had an appointment for 2 scheduled at 6p.m. and was late because I had to stay back at work. When making the appointment I was told walk ins were more than welcome so I figured there wouldn't be an issue. When arriving the nail tech loudly let everyone know at the salon that I was late to embarrass me infront of everyone. My mother was actually in the parking lot but since I was told the services I was requesting couldn't be done and the crappy feeling of embarrassment I decided to call another salon, not my mother who was waiting in the car. The tech/receptionist rudley shouted that I arrived late so when I stepped out "to call my mom"( I didn't want to be rude at first and call another nail salon front of other customers, which now I'm thinking I should have ) when I stepped out, I actually called NIKKIS NAIL SPA WHICH HAPPILY ACCEPTED ME AND WAS GRATEFUL FOR MY BUISNESS. They also did an amazing job there and were VERY FRIENDLY and were surprised at how rude the staff was here ay L'Amour spa. Luckily they are only 1 minute away so I would highly recommend going there instead of somewhere where the service is unappreciated and customers are treated badly. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WHERE IT ISNT APPRECIATED. If I wasn't working obviously I couldn't pay for the nails but instead I was emberassed by the staff here and sha.ed for working late. My biggest thing here was that I gave you guys another chance and was yet again failed and mistreated and EMBARRASSED AND PUT IN THE SPOT IN FRONT OF EVEEYONE. So by writing this review I'm doing the same as you did to me and only speaking the truth. Don't worry I will never return here. Please don't tell me I've never received services from you because I have and they were crappy then too. Terrible the girl only applied scrub did not message my legs then hot stones she only put on my feet. The water was way to hot. They towels were wrapped lose and only cool, wax on my feet did it's own thing, she keep pulling at my feet and moving my chair up to close. Left my toe nails to long. Just had my first visit at L'amour and overall I thought they did a great job! I got a shellac manicure and regular spa pedicure with the added exfoliating scrub and hot towel. I also had my previous shellac polish removed. All in I paid $50 which is a great price for the quality of service. The girls who completed my services were super friendly which made the visit really comfortable. They also took their time and were very careful when cutting the skin around my toes which I know is tricky on my feet in particular. The only reason for why I can't give L'amour 5 stars is because I do think they could expand their color selection a bit. I went in with a color in mind and they didn't have it or really anything close to it. They also didn't seem to offer beverages which in my experience is pretty common at all nail salons these days. I would also say that my biggest critique when getting my nails done is the massage and it could have been a tad longer in my opinion. Despite all that, I think my nails look great and I would certainly go back for the price. read more

So happy to have finally found my place! We recently moved to the area and I've had a difficult time finding a salon that I'd like to come to on a regular basis. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked what service I'd like to have. I had a shellac manicure and a shellac pedicure. They have a great range of colors for both regular polish and shellac. They completed both of my services at the same time which was great because I had other errands to run. Both services were relaxing and fantastic! My nails look great and at a very reasonable price. This is a family owned place and everyone there is so nice and helpful. My daughter asked for her nails to be painted navy blue and orange with the Astros 'H' on them. Rachal painted her nails and did a great job. This will definitely be my new regular nail salon. read more
