I started coming to this place because of a lady who not only did great work, but was very sweet and kind to me. Today I had the worst experience I've ever had as customer at any nail salon I've been to. The nail technician, My (is her name), was so rude to me after me expressing my dislike of the nail design I asked her for. I asked if there was something else more simpler would could try she told me "no" and that I "wasted her time" Then she asked "you pay for what if I take it off" I said "money isn't the issue for me I'll pay whatever but this isn't something I like." And showed her another photo of something simpler we could do instead. She agreed. And tried to make me choose the color SHE wanted me to do. I asked if they had other colors for me to choose from she said "no" and I kept asking "what do you mean no?" Then after telling me no 3x that I could not choose the color I wanted to choose from my chrome she then goes to get the chrome color choices I've been asking for and hands them to me. After she hands the to me she immediately tell me to "leave and go somewhere else" I asked "so you don't want to do my nails anymore?" She said "no. If you know someone else somewhere else go to them." I have never in my yearssss of getting my nails done experienced this type of disrespect. Especially as a paying customer who told her that money wasn't an issue and that we could do something simple on my nails that made her feel more comfortable. They have forever lost my business. Customer service is everything.

When I wanted a half tip she didn't put a gold line above it like I had asked. AND they charge a service fee for their machines??? This place is ridiculous. Highly recommend going somewhere else. PLUS they don't have many colors they only had one little chart of colors. And no cuticle care was done. My nails are so bad I'm going to have to get them re-done. Smh. Waste of money and time. The manicure usually last me a week in a half before chipping and I am always using my hands. They are very friendly. I also get my eyebrows waxed here occasionally and it always looks amazing but they miss a few hairs on the tail of your eyebrow which is ok, you just have to mention it and they will tweeze it for you no problem. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because one time when I went for my normal french manicure, the table looked dirty as someone else just finished before me. I did not want to mention anything as I am a bit shy at first and didn't want to come off rude but the nails are amazing.

I called beforehand to make an appointment. Once I arrived, the salon was empty with only the employees. The employees were kind towards me, however, the man who performed my pedicure did not understand me or did he speak English. I had to wait until the lady who did my manicure was available which was a hit and miss. The man would point at the mani and pedi booklet to indicate that I needed to choose quickly. I couldn't choose quickly because they had a lot of options and I wasn't given any time as I was rushed. The lady rushed me to choose the mani that I was interested in. I ended up choosing up the cheapest option. I told both individuals that I wasn't interested in hot stones for medical reasons. Both the man and the lady begged me to get hot stones and even said that hot stones was very good and relaxing. I get that, but for medical reasons I am not going to the hospital over hot stones and pay a hefty medical bill because of them. I told them my reasons and yet was still begged to get them for an additional cost. I chose my nail polish that I wanted and the lady who served me immediately told me no that I couldn't choose that. She asked me to choose another color. I chose another color then the color that I chose wasn't something that they had used before and I asked if I was sure that I liked the color. I told her that I was sure since she was adamant that I couldn't choose the color that I initially wanted. She asked me again if I was sure. I told her yes, then she opened the color, applied it to my toenail and fingernails. After, she applied it, she asked for a third time if I was sure as she cannot reverse the process of applying. I told her yes. That crap was very annoying her asking me several times if I was sure and not allowing me, the paying customer to choose the initial color, but yet having to settle for a secondary color. Another thing that pissed me off was that I brought a picture in for her to match. This lady gave me a hard time it was like pulling teeth to get her to match the picture that I wanted. She told me that she would charge me $100 additional on top of the color for the special look which was utterly ridiculous. She would charge me for all 10 fingers. For a basic color, acrylic nails, this basic job cost me $139. I felt like it was a rip off. Next time, I am not going to a nail salon, but will be buying the glue on nails from HEB. The nails that I got at this salon didn't even last 2 months like how they last at Bella Nails that I used to go to in Pearland, TX before I moved to the area. They did an okay job, but the glue on nails would have looked better. Additionally, I did not care for hearing children play and scream while I was trying to have a relaxing time at this salon. They had their children out on the floor yelling and talking loudly. I cannot enjoy my time getting my nails done being around children that just ruins the mood for me. I won't be back and recommending them to anyone.

A sign at the front desk announced their recent price increases, citing new plastic linings for pedicure tubs and sterilized sets of cleaning tools for each customer as their reason for the uptick. I don't know about the next person, but I'm more than happy to pay the slightly-above prices for a mani pedi if it means that I get to listen to the delightful noise of a technician ripping open a new set of tools for me as they send it into the delicate nail beds of my hands and toes. Speaking of prices, regular pedicures are $20, while an extra five dollars affords you the spa pedicure, which means ten extra minutes of pampering. I've visited twice already and both times, I was happy with the level of care and attention to detail. On my second visit, I chose a pale white color and was impressed with the way Anna carefully studied each nail after the requisite two coats and brushed a third, even fourth coat on some nails to ensure even coloring. Both times, I opted for the spa pedicure. Today, I was a little disappointed by the soft massages and the careless toweling but my last visit had been far more luxurious, with a full callous remover, hot stone massage, and an intense calf and foot massage that made the back of my head tingle in the most delicious way. It would seem that the quality of your spa pedicure really depends on two factors: (1) your technician, and (2) how busy it is. M Nails seems to be a popular destination (in fact, it would seem that most of the cars in the lot are their customers), so definitely call ahead and make an appointment if you can. Also, if their sanitary methods and skills don't persuade you to pay a visit, perhaps the promise of free soda, wine, and mimosas will get you through the door. It brings the salon experience to a new level of relaxation that I, for one, plan to return to again and soon.

I was a little nervous about trying a new nail salon in an unfamiliar area, but we were on a time crunch so I couldn't be picky. We both got mani pedis and it was my boyfriend's first time ever getting one. The staff made the experience amazing. They were all super friendly, professional, and patient. They answered all of my boyfriend's questions since he had no idea what to expect or what anything was LOL. I wish I had gotten everyone's names because they were all so great. A special shoutout to the nail technician who did my nails!!! They turned out exactly how I wanted. She checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with the results and I've received more compliments on my nails than I ever have before. To top it all off, they were celebrating Chinese New Year while we were there. Making customers feel included in the festivities is such a thoughtful cool touch. And they have a full bar, which is pretty rare for a nail salon!! This place is on the pricey side but you absolutely get what you pay for.
