Very professional service and attention right from making appointment - to a complicated and urgent treatment - and follow up and instruction on post-procedure care. Recommend L & H Dental Care absolutely. I have never felt so at ease in a dentist's chair. read more

I just gotta say this - where else will your dentist send you your xrays over email , listen and give general advice on your current dental woes and personally book an appointment for you with him when you are living thousands of miles from home? Seriously folks this guy is great - if you find yourself in Hamilton (or the Glasgow aread) and need dental work come here you wont regret it! read more

Established in 1931.

1931 The practice founded by Thomas J. Barnard 1920 in Hamilton. 1946 Tom Jr qualified as a dentist. 1960 T.J. Barnard retired & Tom purchased the practice. 1980s Hygienist care initiated into the practice. 1989 Tom retired and after two generations of Barnards running the practice, the practice was sold to Rab & Iain.Lambert & Hunter" 1990s Rab and Iain guided the practice through its conversion to Denplan with the practice fast becoming the biggest Denplan practice in Scotland. 2003 Conor, Phil and Paul became partners in 2003. L&H Dentalcare was born. 2004 The practice was taken to new levels with computerisation, a paperless office, digital imaging including photography and x-rays, and text messaging. Dr Hunter retires. 2006 A new refurbishment took place with greater emphasis on patient comfort and improving the environment for all the team. 2007-2010 with 3 new associates Dr's Hawthorn , McAuley and Bateman join the practice , and plans start for new ground floor access ...

i've been going here for well over 10 years now. when i…read morestarted i had a dentist called Scott and he was the best dentist i have ever had i was so gutted when he left.. i even debated following him to prestwick. then some girl came in whom was bloody horrendous. she didnt last long thankfully. now there is a new guy who ive had for about 2 years called john and he's great. chats away, puts you at ease, and does a really good dentistry job! the place itself is always clean, tv is always on and magazines are always available. staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions. its a good place and has a top dentist.
