How about everything? Worst bus company as far dealing with nyc school age children. Constant no shows, bringing kids very late to school.

I really wish I could give negative stars. My 4 year old daughter has been on the bus for over 2 hours, when I was promised 1 hour. One day, the bus came 2 hours late and then dropped her off 2 hours later. This isn't a greyhound bus with a toilet and meal service..so if my daughter has to use the bathroom or is hungry, looks like the option is her underwear and starvation. Avoid if you can. read more

Let me start by saying that time means nothing to them. The pickups range from an hour to 2 hr delays. When staff is asked the rudeness and unprofessionalism is beyond my comprehension. People who deal with nonverbal children should know that parental concerns should be not only be heard, but addressed in a timely manner. I deserve to know why you were 2 hours late for pick up and not dismiss or ignore my question. I am going to turn my Karen on and begin writing to every single person on the planet because this is truly frustrating. read more

Majority of the staff including those in management position are unprofessional, dishonest, and rude. 1 our of every 20 staff member I dealt with seem to genuinely care about children and work with integrity. For ex: It took over 2 months for my child to be assigned a school bus. Then when the bus finally was assigned to her it will pick her up over 30 minutes after school has begun. Office for Pupil Transportation was notified and began fining L & M bus company. So, for about two weeks they got their act together and started picking up my child on time. But like demons, they refuse to allow the situation continue peacefully. So, after about 2 weeks of arriving on time they decided to transfer her to another driver that will pick her up at 9am. And they called me at 6am the same day to notify me. Yup, they waited until 2 hours before school starts to notify me. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told no one was available so I left messages. No one has called me back. I filed complaints with OPT. they confirmed the accuracy of my story and said they will issue L & M another fine. But how is that going to help me? It's not like the money the bus company is getting fined is going into my pockets for the inconvenience they cause. It's not like L & M management care or feel threatened by the fines because to them it's just business as usual. It's not their kid. so why do they care about someone's else's kid arriving to school on time. Another problem with L & M bus company is the bus driver once left my child at school. They did not pick up my child from school as scheduled and did not call to notify me. There actions showed that they really do not care. I contacted the mayor's office and borough president office and opt to complain about their constant unprofessional shenanigans. I suggest that if this or similar things happened to you too. You contact the same agencies to file a complaint. I do it on behalf of my child that I love dearly and I do it to make life easier for other children and families who has children with special needs. We are not asking for favors. We only want justice. We only want the bus company to do what they say they will do which is to bring children to and from school safely each day. That is their JOB. What is their problem? Why do they fail miserably in performing their duties? Do they lack the ability to prioritize, organize, supervise? Do they lack the ability to care? IS their ego getting in the way? What is their problem??? I am also an advocate that the bus company should place surveillance cameras inside each bus to record incidents and to protect the safety of the children. My valid and reasonable requests was denied. It seems like the old saying is true...There are some people in this world who strive for excellence, work with dignity and genuinely provide consistent quality of care to the children and parents they serve....Then there are other folks like those who work at L &M. read more

This bus company suck there unrealiable always late to pick the kids up. The bus is always braking down i don't know why they haven't shut this company down for business. This Bus company has been the worst i have ever encounter i really wish my baby didn't have to deal with this bus. read more

Is there a negative 20 option ? They're super unprofessional. Late over an hour . Not prepared for departure . Driver wreckless driving children . He drove through a red light , sharp turns . The owner / upper management not apologetic . Dodged emails & calls. Donot use them . read more

I am shocked that this company is used to transport the children of NYC. My children and I were almost killed by a bus driver this past Friday 2/12/16 @ 145pm getting on the FDR Drive. License Plate # 33171-88. This driver was driving so carelessly it is unthinkable that anyone could hire this bus company for any transportation!!! Beware!!!
