AMAZING FOOD! I was here for 2 days from Charlotte NC and ate here every day breakfast lunch and dinner. I had a bacon, egg n cheese on toast, hotdogs "all the way" (chillin slaw). THE HOTDOGS ARE TO DIE FOR! I went twice in one day and had 2 both times. The Sunday happened to fall on Easter so me and my love decided to stop in because nobody was cooking dinner. They had a Sunday special plate with: fried or baked chicken, chicken n pastry, green beans, corn, greens with turnips, rice with gravy, dressing and gravy, cornbread, cake and a drink for around $8/9. read more

They have the best food in the area to me. I highly recommend the fried cat fish nuggets. They are so good.

The place has great food but when you pay $28 for two shrimp plates you shouldn't get a small two cups of a coke slaw cup measured out for the shrimp they put on your plate!! If I could post the pic I would but check my Yelp comment you will see what I'm talking about. If I wanted a Fry plate I would've went to Food Lion and bought a bag of fries for $2 not $28‍ Need to do better not Happy at all and when I took the food up there for them to fix they lied in my face telling me that's the way they measured the shrimp but as many times as my ppl have ordered from this store it has never been skimpy as shi* compared to the usual plates ordered from there and the fries weren't cooked All the way to top it off soft Flemsy and half Raw!! This is definitely your one stop shop! I've never been interested in eating at places like this until I was introduced to L & M Convient Mart some years ago. I used to stop through this little town EVERY TIME I was on the way to Myrtle Beach. I remember the food holding me over all day! You can get your gas, a bag of ice, some snacks, use the restroom, and dine at the mini-restaurant inside. I'd get their famous burgers and fries with chili and slaw! The burgers are off the chain! I promise you that you can't eat just one. The hot dogs are good too! As for the service, its good but you are basically on your own after you order. It takes a while for them to take your order because they are so crowded and everything is made to order. It's worth the wait though. I don't even think people pump gas here. They park in the way of the pumps just to eat here! Truly a stopping point! read more
