This is truly a little rad house! Whilst in Sister Bay, I took a tiny side jaunt off the main drag…read moreto see the library, because I love libraries. The library is just a half block to block off Bay Shore Drive, but in going that distance I spied this little shop that I hadn't noticed before. It's easy to miss, since most of the shops are along Bay Shore. I'm glad I took the time to see what it was about because it's adorable and I went back later in the day. This shop has a TON of kids stuff. Lots of children's clothes and toys, but it's more than just a kid's store; they have women's clothing as well. What really knocked me over is that they have plus size clothing as well. I can tell you that the number of non-chain stores that carry both "regular" and plus size clothing at the same place I could probably count on just a few fingers, so this was really cool to see. There were a few things that caught my eye, but I loaded up on stuff for the kiddo instead. Amongst the aforementioned things that made me happy with this boutique, it was great that they had a good balance of "boy" and "girl" kids clothing. I didn't know the gender of my baby until she was born, but when I'd wander through a shop seeking gender neutral items, they were really difficult to find. And then most of the shops tended to lean much more toward girl's clothing than boys with regards to style (e.g., dresses) or color palette (since we still think boys and/or girls can't wear certain colors). But someone at LRH must have gotten that memo because I found just as many things for girls as boys, and at the time thought it was too bad my friend hadn't joined us in this shop since she has lamented about baby and children's stores having a more limited supply of things for boys. The service was friendly as well. All in all I had a lot of fun shopping here and wandering around. It's here that I found some adorable shoes that although my babe will kick them off about as soon as I put them on I still do, because they change colors when they get wet. The store had some boots in the same line but I couldn't find a size and color I liked, but I'm glad I learned about the brand here. Parking is a cinch because in a rarity along this stretch of Bay Shore Drive, LRH has its own parking lot. Have fun shopping!

Love this shop! If you have kids or grandkids, stop here! There are on trend kids clothes, a few…read moretoys and books. The decor is so cute. There is also an adorable cafe with a kids play area that will keep you kiddo entertained for quite awhile. There are even non cafe kids drinks like a babyccino made with milk and sprinkled coco powder and a teddy graham. So cute.

Meijer boast on their "perks" rewards but when at the register never accepts my rewards.. limits…read morethe # of receipts to put in manually/scan to 3. For the little bit of rewards that you received .. really going to limit the number of rewards per month to enter. There are plenty of other stores to shop!!!

During the time of COVID-19 I'm looking for shopping experiences with minimal human interaction…read more Popped in tonight to pick up a few things and was eager to use the shop & scan feature in the Meijer App. Normally, self scan means you have a contactless shopping experience. You scan your items and pay for them- all on your phone. Here's the weirdness that is this feature at Meijer. Scanned my items with my phone (so far so good) but then to pay for them I had to go to a "self serve" check-out, scan a QR code on the screen, have the employee come up and tell me they are required to scan "3 of your items" (I was buying 4 things)- and then you can scan your credit card at the self checkout to pay. That's certainly not scan and go, nor is it contactless. There is really minimal benefit to scanning on your phone vs scanning all your items at self checkout. The other really unbelievable aspect of Meijer in the time of a pandemic is that they will charge you $4.95 to pickup your order at the store and you can't use pickup for any alcoholic items. Meijer needs to take some cues from WalMart- which has order pickup down to a science. They bring the groceries to your trunk quickly, for no charge, and will bring out your alcohol (with a convenient curbside ID check). I don't want to go through the checkout nor have the front of store staff touching "3" of my items. It's a no- brainer that for a contactless experience- Meijer is not the right choice. Shop and scan was really disappointing.
