My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I really apprecieatd that. Once they shipped it only took about 2 days to get to my mom and 4 days to get to me. I worked with Tena from the Thornton Colorado store.

We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! It's catchy on the outside and the first thing you see when you enter is a cute little area with garden themed gifts. Then the greenhouse. There was a full inventory of all types of annuals, a smaller area for perennials and then the souls, rakes, gloves and fertilizer. Their prices were prominently found, which is a plus. Plants, like everything else, have jumped in price. This nursery beats all the big box stores, plus the owner is a very pleasant lady. My only caution is the plants were pretty dry. Be sure and give them a good drink before you start planting.

We have ordered beds, medicine cabinets, dressers, towel racks, a cane, a hope chest, among other things from this store. I believe that everything is made here in Colorado at their Alamosa location. Every piece of furniture is unique due to not being in a totally finished condition, but they let the knots and other particular features in the wood stand out. This makes each piece a one-of-a-kind treasure.

I initially had a great experience with Jaime Langer and genuinely believe she has strong design…read moreskills. However, my overall experience with her ended in deep disappointment and frustration. If you choose to work with her, do not let her refer you to Hummingbird HRD (Crystal and Brian Mansanares), as that is where everything unraveled. Jaime first helped me after a Christmas morning plumbing disaster, and at the outset, she was fantastic--quick to respond, knowledgeable, and actively engaged in creating thoughtful layouts. Because things seemed to be going well, we also hired her for additional design work in our kitchen and living room. But when she referred us to Hummingbird as the general contractor, she stepped away entirely, leaving us in the hands of an inexperienced team that led to an overpriced, incomplete, and poorly executed renovation. Where Things Went Wrong Jaime and Crystal turned out to be personal friends rather than longtime collaborators, and our home was essentially a "guinea pig project"--a fact Jaime admitted only after things had gone terribly wrong. The staggering lack of professionalism from Hummingbird resulted in months of stress, wasted money, and a home that remains unfinished to this day. After Crystal declared the project "done" (despite glaringly poor workmanship), I asked Jaime to see the state of things herself. She agreed with me that the quality was unacceptable and even apologized for how badly things had turned out. She admitted that Crystal lacked the necessary experience and recognized that we had been unintentionally used as a test project. To make matters worse, she also told me, "Wow, I didn't realize you were so detail-oriented--I would feel exactly the same." As if they thought they could get away with subpar work and I wouldn't notice--truly insulting. Jaime's Final Disappointing Choice To her credit, Jaime convinced Crystal and Brian to attempt to fix their mess, but she ultimately abandoned the project. Despite personally acknowledging all the flaws, she later sent me a completely contradictory statement: "I have every faith in Hummingbird completing the project as promised, and overall, I believe they have done an exceptional job." This project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in March--it was still dragging on in November, at which point I cut ties entirely because it was no longer worth the emotional toll. To this day, our home remains unfinished and cheap-looking, a painful reminder of the stress and financial loss we endured. What We Actually Got for Jaime's Fees After paying her design fees for both the bathroom and kitchen/living room, all we truly received was: * Layout options * A recommendation for Hummingbird (which proved disastrous) * Help selecting a kitchen table and rug Had we gone with a different general contractor, I might be writing a glowing five-star review. Unfortunately, given how this played out, I cannot recommend Jaime Langer at all.

Good morning, We bought 60 sq feet of 5inch plank by 3/4 in white oak hardwood grade 2 ..I am soo…read moredisgusted with what we had when we go it home..3 bundles, which almost half of the wood was between 2 ft and 4 ft with just a few 6-7 foot pieces wow soo terrible wood supposed to be 5 inch wide a bunch of it was like 1/16 wider or 1/16 narrower Our floor installer had to rip up like 4 different rows because of the big cracks between the rows.. alot of the pieces were damaged were the tounge and grooves were so disappointed the say they have the best warranty in the business wrong! wrote emails to head qts, no results actually called the store to complain, got now where got a phone call from a rep told her all the problems we were having with the hardwood she said she wouldn't help us at all with no kind of refund so we lost money with over 4 hours of labor to redo the bad wood rows we are just not happy at all we bought 365 feet of the same wood to begin our install from Missouri hard wood didn't have one problem with any of the wood now because of the 6o sq feet we bought for LL which is junk, we have to buy more hardwood to finish the job we have pics and videos that the floor install took with A WALK THROUGH to show the 365 ft of beautifully laid floor and the horrible install of the junk wood, with the big cracks between the rows..
