It was difficult to narrow down specific times for them to get the work done and they were never proactive about reaching out for updates on the progress of the project. It took over 3 months to actually complete the project, with constant confusion over who was the correct contact person. I thought they did a good job initially, however within 1 month, the door had already cracked in three places. After spending close to $3000 for their work, I am fairly disappointed in the final product and the overall process.

I decided on using them and they did a professional job and provided detailed pictures of the work being done so I would have visual evidence for my insurance company. I recommend them. They do accept credit cards but pass on the four percent charge to customers. And they take checks. One thing you also need to understand, all of this was done basically by remote control. I left for FL to have an operation and these guys kept me updated. You might think there is better but I doubt it. So pleased. Added a few photographs of work being completed. You can see the job being done. My insurance adjuster was surprised that a company provided their client ongoing photographic proof of the job being done. And just had them back and their estimate to do additional work on garage beat the competition. (June 2015)

Deans was unable to tell the difference between a repair and buildup. I've also contacted Travis Industries the maker of the stove. To let them know about the experience I had with Dean's stove and spa. No customer should have to go through predatory selling tactics that deans uses. People are Travis Industries picked up the phone and at least took the time to listen. They asked for an e-mail and pictures and all of those have been sent off. Time will tell to see if anything happens. Lopi I did get back to me. So that's good. I've been not been waiting for over a week for my refund. I guess it's up to you whether or not you do business with them if you do good luck.

We couldnt seem to control the burn rate in the stove and were going through wood very fast. Turns out they never attached the chimney pipe to the back of the stove. When we called them on it they just claimed it wasn't their fault. The stove ended up cracking due to being overfired because we couldnt control the air intake. They offered zero assistance and we are out thousands of dollars. Were honestly probably very fortunate our house didn't burn down. Stay away from this place.

I looked at a number of roofing contractors, but Above the Rest Roofing seemed to be the most knowledgeable about what was going on with my roof and what needed to be repaired. I worked with Michael Wilmot for the duration of the entire process. He was friendly, courteous, willing and able to answer any questions I had, and provided exceptional service with a new roof and 50-year shingles. But whats the most impressive is how he worked with me as I dealt with my insurance company. Hanover Insurance dragged the process of evaluating my claim for months, and Michael went out of his way to interface with the insurance adjuster and argue why he felt that my roof was a covered loss. The thing is, by this point Michael had been paid and he didn't *need* to do any of this. But he stuck with it, through months of pointless back and forth with the insurance adjuster. My claim was denied in the end, but I am very grateful for the personal effort that Michael took with me, my roof, and my claim. I would highly recommend Above the Rest Roofing for future projects.

He had books for us to check out all our different options for shutters and railings, and said for bigger jobs, you can go to the showroom to check out materials. I personally loved the convenience of sitting on my front porch and picking everything out! He was patient and let us flip through the books and never once made us feel like he was in a rush. We put a deposit down on the spot. Our ability to do the project was dependent on another contractor doing stone work on our porch first. Fiderio was great about scheduling around them and getting the work done quickly once the stone work project was complete. They did their work fast and cleaned up without a trace. The prices are fair (let's be honest, home improvement projects are never cheap!) and the service and quality of workmanship is fantastic! I haven't even received my invoice for final payment, and I'm already eyeing my back deck for replacement....when I'm ready, I will definitely call Fiderio!
