We were having a problem with spiders nesting under the siding on our house. They were making the siding look dirty with the webs they made. They were also finding their way inside. There were no Yelp reviews for pest control in this area so I went with the recommendation of a neighbor who uses this company. The first red flag should have been when I called several times with no answer. I left messages with no return call. a couple days after I had left my last message they called me. We discussed my problem with spiders. He said he was going to be in the area the next week and would call before he came because we wanted the inside treated as well. The following week my neighbor asked me if we heard from L & S, and that he was coming the next day to treat her house. I had not heard from him at that point. No one called or showed up the next day. The following week he showed up. Fortunately my wife was off work that day. He introduced himself handed my wife a bill and spent the next 10 minutes spraying the outside of the house. When he was finished he just got in his car and left. He never did the inside like we discussed or asked about a return date. This is poor customer service, especially if they expect to get my business again. They got 2 stars because they did show up, and that's being generous. I will be trying another company next time I need pest control. read more

L & S Pest Control is a small business in east central Wisconsin. I have used them for the past two years to hold down the spider population on my home and seasonal cottage on Lake Winnebago. (The lake flies here make a huge food supply for spiders.) I and several of my neighbors sign up for spraying once or twice per summer. They arrive, spray, and are gone quickly and charge a very small fee. They make sure that pet owners know to have their windows and doors closed for at least a half hour after spraying to keep the indoor air safe. In the last two years, the house and cottage exteriors have been much cleaner, requiring a lot less sweeping and washing, and we have fewer spiders inside as well (although only the outside was sprayed). L & S has never presented themselves to us as a full-service pest company for carpenter ants, rodents, etc. They focus on very efficient spraying for exterior spider prevention and reduction. Companies like Batzner Pest Control and Orkin are available for big, serious and dangerous infestations. And they cost a lot more, too. Good value for money. read more
