Went there to have a set of nails done.. within two weeks, she was back to have fills done. Normal shops charge about half the price for a fill, they charged us just as much as they did when they put on a full set. The funny thing is, he changed the price from one minute to the other. I rate L&V nails a 5 because I like the quality of their work. I have had my nails done by more than one staff member but I have found that I really like Kyle or Jane's work. My nails are not too thick and my cuticles are beautiful. The Gel Nail polish is flawless. Each time I go in for a fill, I'm asked about the length and shape of my nail. I like that I can usually get a same day appointment! I love the online scheduling!!!! read more

First of all, they reuse products like single use creams and scrubs on people. Second I was charged 115 dollars for a deluxe pedicure and a set of dip nails (no manicure just the set which is not what I asked for) the lady who did my nails did not even cut my cuticles and the nails are extremely uneven, she left dip on the skin around my nails and then got irritated when I asked her to clean it off. My mother and I went in to get our nails done. I needed a fill (I previously had French tips) and opted to pay the $10 more for the cat eye. Without asking the lady then proceeded to file my nails square which I prefer rounded. She was already done with one hand before I even noticed that she decided for me that my nails would now be very square. I didn't bother interrupting her. She painted my nails and they look like she didn't put enough coats on to cover the previous French tip because you can see the white tips from underneath. I wish I could say that is where my complaints stop but my mother got hers done as well. She didn't want fake nails, just a manicure, which the board said $20. She also asked him not to use the tool to grind down her nails because it makes them weak. They were very friendly about it and kept going. He asked my mom what color she wanted, she started to stand and he said oh no no, sit down, I will bring it to you. So he brought her books and she picked out a red. Without even really asking, just being very pushy he put a swipe of glitter on her nails. He just kept repeating how pretty and continued to do it to all her nails. It made it look like an 8 year old had painted them. He then charged her $35 for her manicure. She asked twice if he was sure that was the price and he just talked really fast about "yes, yes" this and that it's $35. Super disappointed -I paid $40 for a see through fill and she paid $35 to walk around looking like a small child painted her nails. We will be trying out one of the other nail salons in town. when I went to the salon there was only 1 person getting a pedi. I asked if I could get acrylic nails out on with gel overlay. The woman started to do my nails and was very friendly but as soon as a mother/daughter duo came in, she started working on them. More people were coming in but they didnt have enough help. She called her brother to come in and help. As soon as he arrived, she told me to go sit by him. Didnt like that as I was there first but got shuffled to him. he was very rude. he kept yelling at me because I couldnt relax my hands. I was like well, yelling isnt helping me to relax.. then when I turned my head a little to look at my phone, he said I moved my hand and wasnt happy with me. Alright here's the thing. L&V is okay. I've gone there a total of 4 times. The first time I just got regular polish on my nails, wasn't looking to spend a ton but wanted to go with my friend. The polish was okay, but the lady had me put my nails in front of a fan. Most of us know that if you do that, it causes bubbles. Big annoyance, basically wasted $10. The next 2 times I went, I got shellac with no complaints. This last time I went, I got shellac. Everything was fine, until later that night, I noticed my polish was cracked. And it wasn't the whole polish, it seemed to be under the top coat. Not a big deal, a few cracks, whatever. But now, 4 days later, all of my nails have cracks, and it's a lot (picture attached). I'm so annoyed I didn't even go back for them to fix it, I went somewhere else. That shouldn't happen with shellac because it's marketed to last 21 days... and mine lasted 4. Not going back here because it's a lottery I don't want to waste my money on. read more

My new favorite salon. I called at 5:30 an hour and a half before they closed and they squeezed me into their schedule. I didn't expect them to be overly friendly as I might have been putting them behind schedule but they were so nice about it. And the guys were FUNNY. How often can you say that after leaving a nail salon?? I also got a lesson on dragon fish. Can you say 2 for 1?! The pedi was good too and he definitely didn't skimp on the massage. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years. My salon manicurists moved. I was willing to try this nail salon- worst experience in my entire life!!! My cuticles were bleeding on 3 different fingers and super glue all over my fingertips. The older guy had the strangest method I have ever seen applying acrylic nails. I have had Ray a few times do my nails and he always does such a great job! They have completely remodeled their studio and it looks amazing! I would definitely recommend going to Ray and L&V to any of my friends and family. Be sure you make an appointment first, while they do take walk-ins they prefer appointments and you won't have to wait as long! read more
