She pretty much runs the place by herself - cooking, serving, and visiting with guests, so don't expect American-style in-and-out. Genevieve speaks enough English to share the details of the meal, from the origin of the wine to how she prepares the delicious foie gras. They have several prix fix lunch menus but we opted to order à la carte. I had the tomato-crumble crusted cabillaud served on a fresh bed of ratatouille and drizzled with a cream reduction that was a lovely, light(isn) dish for the super hot day. My husband had a burger topped with a slice of fresh-seared foie that was delicious/super intense, but it was my mom's duck hachis parmentier that was the clear winner of the table. The also have a great kids menu with the largest and most delicious portion of fries and chopped steak my kid has ever been served! The service was super professional and extra sweet.
