Briggs & Riley company didn't have a dealer in Rome so I asked the Hotel for help and they said the only real suitcase store in Rome was Tedeschi Roma Tel. 06 6795575. I called right away and even though they didn't have any Brigg's & Riley parts said they would look at the suitcase. I left it overnight with the owner Stefano, as he was willing to see if he could figure out some way to make the existing part work again. I was sooo relieved when I called the next morning Stefano was able to repair the issue, I grabbed a taxi in between tour stops, to pick up our repaired suitcase, and we were able to get through the rest of our tour and back to Houston with the wheel operating like new. Thank you Stefano... Bravo! Regards, Jeff G.

Worst service experience in my life. Today…read more Entered this shop when I was looking for a small suitcase. The older saleslady was showing me what they have very reluctantly and not really helping with the choice. This is why, I guess. She asked me about my budget, I said that it was around €100, to which she replied "Is it really? Not €60-70?". I said I came to the shop for both quality and good price and she went like "we have only quality here". I thanked her and told that I need to discuss this purchase with my parents, as I am not the one earning in the family. She stared at me not reacting at all. My friend whispered to me that she might not have understood my last phrase and I asked her if everything is okay. This is where she lost it and said that she understood it all ("don't worry!") and just knows that I'm not going to buy one of her suitcases cause they are too expensive for me. Ended up buying an amazing suitcase from her shop, having discussed the price with my parents and having been helped up by her Russian-speaking younger colleague. Very happy with my purchase! Still have a very negative impression of this lady, though wishing her all the best and to never forget that life is just amazingly unpredictable.

It didn't seem all that much cheaper. I had the most fun on the 6th floor browsing the food market and exploring the food hall and terrace. Umm, and FREE BATHROOM ALERT!! Public bathrooms are NOT free in Italy so these are some nice clean free ones. A nice break to escape the crowds and smoke in the city.

Champagne cocktails, Aperol Spritz, Negroni....so good : ) Had a few small plates and pizza on the rooftop terrace and both the food and view were great! We were in no hurry and enjoyed the laid back vibe. Service was perfect. Prices seemed reasonable given the high quality. I am not an expert on Rome, but I am guessing there are few if any other comparable spots in this city that the average person can simply walk into and enjoy.
