Do NOT recommend this place to ANYBODY who is trying to get a proper cut. Messy stations, outdated equiptment and worst of all the hair dresser Anu. Thankfully Janice was able to save the cut that Anu disrespected by chomping her gum and going on her phone DURING the haircut. Sloppy scissor work, seemed to have no care for the client, Anu brings down the Glendale L'Attitudes with her work. Only positive thing about the experience was the lady at the front desk who I assume is the manager was a very nice lady who understood the situation and got it fixed right away. I found the service to be fantastic! Naomi managed to get me from a dark red to a beautiful blonde in a single session with my hair still in great condition for a very reasonable price. I went here today and I was pretty happy about my hairstylist, Melissa. She was nice and did a great job on my hairstyle. While another stylist, Mario, was helping me, however, I got really annoyed. Me and my friend are both Canadian integrates and we were spoking our own language. Mario rudely asked us to speak English only to each other. So we said sorry. But in addition he insulted us by saying how rude, ridiculous and immature we were. He insulted us for two totally minutes. We tried to argue back, but thinking about he was still going to do my hair I just kept silence. Lather, although the lady at the front desk said sorry to us, he did not say anything about it. So not worth it ‍Went to get my hair curled.. I got a shampoo first and she barely scrubbed my scalp, which I didn't felt like my hair got washed properly... I got charged $50 when in the moment I left my curls started to undo If I would've have known how bad their hairstylist was, I would of had bought my own curler for cheaper and done a better job to myself lol. read more

L'attitudes is an amazing salon. All staff members are super friendly and welcoming. I go to Stephanie Myles for blonde balayage about twice a year. Ever since I've been going to her, I won't let anyone else touch my hair! She does such a great job every time and she is a sweetheart. Highly recommend! I went here this past weekend while I was visiting my sister in St.Catherines. We wanted to do a girls day with getting our nails and hair done. The spa ladies were AMAZING and did such a great job on our nails. I would give a million stars for them if I could. The hair salon part on the other hand is a shit show! I had Jennifer as my stylist and she was horrific! She was so loud! She apparently had her phone case stolen off of her phone at her station and started going to everyone including customers asking to go through their bags to see if she could find who "stole" it! Are you kidding!!!!???? She started doing my blonde highlights and barely spoke to me because she was too busy talking to a friend of hers that was hanging out at the salon with her. As she was doing me hair, she told me that if she has a client that gives her a hard time, she spits on the clients forehead while she is washing their hair out and tells them its just splash back from the sink and herself and another stylist with a curled mustache (looks like hook from Perter Pan) said that they spit in the clients hair dye while mixing it! If there wasnt already bleach in my hair, I would have left!!!! Jennifer would talk shit about clients that were IN THE SALON at that time and call them rude names thinking that they couldnt hear her! It was unreal!!!! My hair turned out fine (thank god)!!! I will never return to this salon for hair ever again and neither will my sister who ended up not getting her hair done due to the unprofessional service I recieved! I recommend the spa part of the salon but NOT the hair salon!!!!! read more

While there are a couple excellent hair stylists here, the manager is a total flake. I had to jump through hoops to get a hold of her about a faulty product that, in addition to ignoring responsibility, she never got back to me about. A little sketchy that she pushes products (she personally sold me a blow dryer that set itself on fire in my bathroom), and couldn't even give me the courtesy of a refund or validate my concerns. read more

I like coming here and the first stylist I had was Carly. She was good! But... the second time I came I had Mario. Mario is top notch!! He was pleasant to talk to, does a great job with my hair, asks what I want and gives it to me. Love, love, love Mario!!!! I'm going back to him today for some colour. He's simply the best!!!! Also got a perm done here, straightened my hair once and it went back to being straight. Went back to ask why this happened and said they'd fix my hair for another $200. My hair stylist Jenifer seemed nice, but seemed to not be sure of herself, which was cause for concern. I was telling her about what colour I wanted and brought in various pictures and it seemed she didn't want to do any of them, then went forward and chose a colour and said it'll look very different from my hair colour now, which is what I wanted. It turned out to be almost the exact same colour which I wasn't too pleased about. Also, she botched my bangs and cut them nowhere close to the image I showed her of how I wanted them. And after straightening my own hair since getting it cut a couple days ago, I came to the realization that the left side is noticeably longer than the right side. I spent way too much money for the poor service that I received. I will never go back here. read more

I went to L'Attitudes as my usual hair dresser broke her foot and was off work due to it. I am really regretting my decision. Firstly, keep in mind that my last haircut and colour was only four weeks prior. I like to keep my roots covered and I had a graduation and a wedding reception to attend. I say this so that no one is under the impression that my hair was terribly damaged and needed a chopping job. Regarding the colour, I asked the man working on my hair to match up to the coppery red colour I already had. He pulled out the book and told me to pick a colour. I explained that I liked my colour and wanted it the same. He relied that what colour he sees is different than what I see. I told him I just wanted roughly the same colour. After discussing some reds we started the process. I am not thrilled with the colour. The red is alright, although not the colour that I actually wanted. Whereas I wanted some blond highlights throughout like I already had, I now have yellow chunks that are very symmetrically placed at the front of my head. I am upset with the colour, but frankly it'll grow out and when I see my hairdresser I'm hoping she can get rid of the yellow strips that I now have. My bigger issue is with my hair cut. I had long, non layered hair. Keeping in mind that it had only been four weeks since my last trim, when the hair dresser asked me if I wanted layers, I said no! During my haircut he complained about how my hair was a wild mess (okay, if you call slightly wavy, hair parted at the side with no bangs and all one length a mess), and told me I'd love my hair when I was finished. I now have short layers at both sides. Not minor layers mind you, but chunks of hair that are too short to even put back in a pony tail. Lucky for me summer just started and I won't want to put my hair up, oh wait...I waited a few days to post this as I was hoping that I would be less upset. No, hasn't happened. I regret going to L'Attutudes and wish I had just lived with the darker roots coming in until my actual hair dresser came back to work. The years of growing my hair to the length I wanted are all waisted and I now will have to grow the chunks out at the side. Due to my natural wave, they are curling up and sticking out, which is part of the reason I didn't have layers. As a so called professional hair stylist, he should've realized that my hair would not respond well to this style. And, more importantly, he should have respected my wishes, not what he felt I needed in a cut. Let's just say not one person at work this week complimented my new hair chop. I am angry and regretful that I went into L'Attides that day. On an additional note, I went in for their June special of a colour and a cut for $110. I agreed to pay an extra $40 for highlights (first mistake). Then he actually tried to make me pay an extra $60 for my 'trim'. I'm still shaking my head at myself that I actually paid to have my hair look this way. I would recommend not getting your hair done at this place. read more

When I was getting my hair trimmed and the hairstylist and I were talking, another hairstylist came over and started talking about scissor length (whom I have never met before). As he was talking about it, he was holding the scissors right near the side of my face (near my eyes). After it was obvious that I was uncomfortable, he still didn't stop. I'm guessing that the reason why he was doing this was because I didn't choose him as my hairstylist after the receptionist said he was available. Sounds like he should be fired (or at least set straight for his attitude) and replaced with a competent, professional hairstylist who doesn't have a high-school-clique mentality. It's a shame that someone like him was working there, dragging down the otherwise skilled, professional atmosphere. Other times, the staff was usually professional, and my hairstylist is really talented. After that experience though, it changed the way I felt about L'attitudes. I would like to go somewhere else, I just need to find a good hairstyling place. read more
