But enough about that. The motto of this place is "Good Mood Food" which was true. They had burgers, sandwich, salad and many other stuff kinda like American food but with some French stuff. They also had cafe, beer and ice cream. The service was excellent. The gentleman was by himself for awhile and then a lady came and then I think it was their son or could have been the owner also. But he then helped out cause right after us a lot of people came. Mind you that this place was pretty much the only thing open in the area. You would have to drive to the other little towns if you wanted McDonald's or so on. But we were fine since this was a few feet from our hotel. I ordered the cheeseburger the way I like it. It came with fries and a drink. Which was not bad for the price. My mom ordered a fish sandwich. And I also got the little girl a burger since that is what she knows and likes. It took awhile since there was a few of us ordering. But it was alright we just chatted up and soaked up the nice place of Lourdes. The food was great. It was very busy and as we approached the entrance we were greeted with a very sweet and friendly hostess that recognized we were not local. She seated us promptly and gave us an English menu. The staff is fabulous as well....most spoke much better English then my French. We had the Plat du Jour, which was a normal serving of steak, French fries (real and crisp) and a salad. Serving size was perfect! Everything was perfect! Thank you to everyone in this fine establishment. You do a better job then 90% of the American restaurants. Merci. :)
