Excellent North African restaurant !
Off the beaten path, located in a quiet area of Paris north of Bastille, it is manned by a charming couple.
The decor and music transport you to Morocco .
We started with a appetizer called " brik" which is a savory phyllo pastry made of an egg and tuna filling nicely crispy and tasty that is fried, but remains light and not greasy !
Next, we ordered "couscous" with lamb skewers and a lamb loin which was out of this world !
The grain was moist and thin, the accompanying broth was divine and was filled with carrots, turnips, yellow raisins, potatoes and chick peas.
Needless to say we came out of this full and all of this for a reasonable price.
Highly recommended ! read more
