Another time I met Madame la Comtesse--an eccentric neighborhood woman who told me all about her theories of why Paris is a better city than most ("plusieurs centres" is key). All this to say that this is the kind of place where you can immediately become just one of the locals. Now as for food, you must get the couscous, specifically one that includes their delicious Moroccan meatballs (boulettes). They only do couscous three times a week and this is lunch only. Things get pretty full once the little farmers market closes, so go before 1 pm if you can.

The interior of TAÂM is very clean and comforting with a Morocan/Maghreb feel to it. I enjoyed it a lot. I am not an expert on Maghreb food but It seems like the food here is pretty authentic.
