Most tourists will miss this interesting piece of art right on the front of the Palazzo Vecchio. It is not easy to find, but you can see it if you look hard enough. Looking at the right corner of the Palazzo Vecchio near the Uffizi Gallery, you will find carved into the Tuscan stone the outline of a man's face. This carving was done by the famous Michelangelo. There are many stories as to why Michelangelo carved this. My favorite story is that he did it on a dare - that he was blindfolded - with his back turned.
