The meal was very healthy, it came with quinoa salad and carrot slaw. Light, but a good little bit of protein for the vegetarian option. The Golden milk was very nice, the turmeric and ginger balanced out nicely, so it wasn't overwhelming. It helped me feel a little better and is a great way to warm up. They have a combo meal deal- drink, lunch plate, and dessert, but Golden milk isn't included with this option. My friend split her pistachio cake with me and it was delicious! The Paris location is known for extremely long wait times, and securing a reservation can be tedious. At Versailles, Angelina is conveniently located inside the palace grounds, making it an ideal stop for a hot chocolate break after touring the château. The Paris-Brest was gorgeous and full of hazel it flavor and a blend of textures. The Mont Blanc Caramel was also wonderful--just the right amount of sweet tempered by the slight bitterness of the caramel and chocolate. It was absolutely delicious (and also beautiful). I highly recommend a stop at Angelina if you are visiting Versailles. After feasting your eyes on the beauty of the palaces and grounds, it's only fair that your other senses get a turn.

I only bought three for immediate consumption, which was really two more than someone w a normal appetite should eat in a single sitting, but probably four fewer than I could have polished off in the span of five minutes. If pastries aren't your thing, you fail - but...they also have excellent looking breads - there were a few adorbs French families loading up on loaves - and they also have sandwiches. Prices are super reasonable - baguette for €2.5, slices of cake for the same, and I think all pasties for under €5. I know that it's a chain - but really excellent macarons.
