I opted for the pumpkin spice latte - it was the perfect temperature so I could immediately start enjoying it. there's been a wifi outage of some sort near my house for the past two weeks, so to do basically…read moreany sort of work at all i need to leave the neighborhood. this place has been absolutely perfect. i've tried other coffee shops and even libraries, but either their hours are capricious or their vibes are off. i've been here nearly every day this week and am considering moving in my belongings to permanently stay here until my wifi is fixed. i practically live here anyway! the coffee isn't the best in the world, but the pastries are great and the lemonade is, too. crucially, no one has said anything when i sit here for five hours straight right up until closing. my new favorite spot in grenoble!

We had a table next to a window overlooking what seemed like the entire Provence region. I can't imagine a better view with an afternoon tea break. I had a tea called relaxante, a blend of Rooibos and caramel tea, so delicious I would have bought a box of it right then and there. I also had the raspberry jam tart, which was homemade and the best tart I've ever had. My husband had a cafe au lait which was fine (France is not known for it's coffee). He also had a homemade raspberry/rhubarb crumble with whipped cream and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. All of the desserts are homemade and if you find yourself in Provence, you should go out of your way to visit this gem. The owner was very friendly and spoke some English, which is always helpful.
