This is an Indian fusion food stall in the Hangout Street food court, their second in Toronto…read more Their claim to fame is fusion poutine. They also sell wraps, hotdogs, burgers, and fries. They take tastes from around the world and put it in their poutine, wraps, hotdogs, and burgers! The regular poutine costs $6.99, $7.99, and $8.99, depending on the size. If you want proteins (like Butter Chicken, Bacon Daddy, Crispy Chicke, Jerk Chicken) on the poutine, you pay and extra $3.49, $5.49, and $6.49, depending on the size. Note that these prices are not listed on the menu; I told them to list the additional charges there, and they promised to do so. We ordered the following: 1. Classic Poutine (small $6.99). 2. Butter Chicken Poutine (small $10.48). My son ate the entire Classic Poutine. He loved it! I asked for the Butter Chicken not to be covered until after I took photos. The chef made it look prettier with some fries sticking out around the circumference of the round container. Not only did it look more presentable, but it also allowed me to try the fries on its own, after I took my time taking photos and videos. The fries where not soaked in the butter chicken sauce so I could actually taste the excellent quality of the fries; they were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and best of all, not greasy! The chicken were diced into small pieces. The sauce was excellent. I must come back to try their wraps (like Sweet Thai Chicken and Peri-Peri) and their burgers (like Smash and Italian Sausage). There are also daily combo specials. These provide decent savings. For example, for Friday's special, if you bought them individually, it would cost $16.48, but the combo costs $11.99. This food stall opened on 2024-04-22. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-084

We have visited twice: once for brunch and once for their Wednesday Date Night special. For brunch, we tried "The Full Monty", "The Morning Woody", and "Duke's French Toast", paired with a "Jolly Rancher", "Duke's Lager", and a "Morning Mimosa". Brunch is available every weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the menu puts a fun twist on classic brunch dishes. On our second visit, we tried their $69 Date Night special, which is designed for two people and includes a choice of a shared appetizer or dessert, two mains, and two drinks. You can also order extra and pay the difference. We ordered the "Calamari", "Spinach Artichoke + Goat Cheese Dip", "Meat Lover's Pizza", "Sauced + Tossed Fingers", "Cookie + Cream", "Beach Hair Don't Care", "Tequila Sunburn", and a beer. Everything was enjoyable, and the value of the Date Night offer is great. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was energetic, and it's an easy place to spend a relaxed evening with friends or a date in the St. Lawrence Market area.

It's also much larger than you might expect once you're inside. It's a narrow space, but as deep as a train car, with an open kitchen and a nice back patio. I ordered the burger medium rare (even though I usually order burgers well done). They seem to take food very seriously here, which gave me trust in the kitchen. As for the burger, it was fantastic - one of the best, if not THE best, burgers I've had in Toronto. I kept an eye on other plates coming out of the kitchen and everything being served looked great. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other food on the menu.

We were seated along the side of the back dining area, with a solid view of the bar and kitchen. Some of my favourites were the carrot + ice cream, steak tartare, and burger. Everything felt quite innovative, whether it was a twist on the typical ingredients, or a fusion of different dishes. There is a distinct path that Ricky & Olivia are carving out for themselves, and I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by any dish. Service was lovely, and the ambience was perfect for date night or a small group dinner. Such an east end gem!

It has since been renovated by the new owners, making it elegant, but keeping the same vibe. The restaurant serves pork chops, steaks, fish, and elevated comfort food. It can seat 130 diners. There is a wood fire grill in the open kitchen; yes i saw them stoking the fire with wood pieces. There is a large selection of signature cocktails, wines, and beers. The menu changes seasonally. Most of the mains are served solo; ie, not garnished. You would have to order shareable sides. The Pork Chop was recommended by the server as the most garnished, do I ordered that. We came there on 2025-06-19 to celebrate my Birthday Dinner. The food was amazing and worth returning to try more of the menu. They do have a kids menu too. We ordered the following: 1. Lychee Grapefruit Highball ($15). Soju, soho lychee, soda, grapefruit, Thai basil, NICE ice. 2. Macaroni & Cheese ($22). With aged cheddar. From kids menu. 3. French Fries ($10). Garlic mayonnaise. 4. Shrimp Toast ($22). BC side stripe shrimp, sesame, apple sweet & sour sauce. 5. Lasagna ($30). Beef bolognese, risotta bechemel, basil. 6. Pasture Raised Pork Chop ($34). 12 ounces, sherry, capers & mustard. 7. Crispy Brussel Sprouts ($12),. Sweet chili, sesame seeds. 8. Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream ($14). All the food was excellent, and worth the price. The NICE Ice is shipped in from a company that makes perfectly translucent ice. They boil it to be free of impurities, then put the boiled water into a mold to freeze. The Shrimp Toast was crunchy on the outside and the apple sweet & sour sauce was excellent. The Lasagna was great. Even my son loved it. The Pork Chop was perfectly cooked. There might have been 10% fat pieces and the charred bits were divine. The combination sherry and capers was a great idea. The Brussel Sprouts were not too bitter, and tasted great with the sweet chili sauce; it wasn't spicy. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was so moist. The amount toffee sauce was just right, and the vanilla ice cream was the perfect accompaniment. There is music playing in the background. There is a small private dining room downstairs. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are two male and two female and one gender-neutral family washroom, all downstairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking. There are three high chairs for little children. Review 2025-114

But the meal I actually had was, honestly, one of the worst I've had in Toronto It started small. Our water arrived with two wet glasses set on the table, still damp and stacked, alongside the carafe. When I asked for something to dry them, I was handed napkins rather than clean, dry glasses. A minor thing on its own, but it set the tone. I ordered what the menu called Korean chicken, not realizing it was listed under sandwiches. It arrived cold, on a bao bun that had been cut through the bottom, so there was nothing to actually hold, it fell apart in my hands. The chicken itself was processed strips in some kind of sweet sauce, one to two ounces at most on the entire plate, for $23. I'd ordered it thinking I was getting a real serving of protein, and there simply wasn't much there. Calling it Korean is also a stretch, there was nothing about it that reflected the cuisine. The menu listed coleslaw as a side; what came was a few pickled onions on the sandwich. When I asked about it, the server told me the pickled onions were the slaw. But pickled onions and coleslaw aren't interchangeable, an onion is an accoutrement, like a pickle or a tomato. Coleslaw is something different, and a menu shouldn't promise something it doesn't deliver. I raised all of this with our server directly and, kindly, told her I thought the dish should come off the menu, and that they'd be better off leaning into what they clearly do well. She mentioned it was a recent addition, The food simply didn't deliver. My friend, who only ordered fries, felt the same about the place overall. The service didn't help. The staff weren't attentive or particularly friendly, and honestly, no one looked like they wanted to be there. One more note for anyone planning a visit: it happened to be bingo night, and the hosts were on microphones and extremely loud, and not only loud but fairly explicit, sexual references and cussing throughout. They tried to seat us right next to it, and we asked instead for a table inside, as far from it as possible. That's fine for a club or private event, but this is a public, family-accessible restaurant on Centre Island. Honestly, we only stayed because it was late and the only other option nearby was a fast-food sandwich place. In hindsight, I'd have gone to the other location. This wasn't just a meal I didn't enjoy, it was an experience I didn't enjoy, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. I wont be back
