Just arrived here and I must say great. The hosts are really nice the food is great. I ordered Spaghetti to go and Gorgonzola Pasta . Sat at the bar and waited for 25 minutes. Home made pasta and there is lots more there to try. I'm from Calif and the food better then any Italian in Ca and they don't have 5 stars. Its 5 star yelp

He Said: To be fair we stopped in to use the facilities and wanted to be good people, so we ordered a drink. Friendly service and a tasty helles and primitivo! We didn't have food, but the pizza smelled great. She Said: What He said, but I was the one using the WC. Potty Points: 5/5. Very clean! Excellent water pressure!

We went here the first night of our stay in the city. We were happy to find they had ample seating since they were busy and many other smaller restaurants were full at the busy dinner hour. We also got the margarita pizza which was okay but not exceptional. The crust was very thin. The outside tables were clean and had ample umbrellas although not the cutest in the world.

So my friends and I liked this place so much we went twice in one week. The first visit was more for happy hour, just drinks. Our waitress handled our shenanigans really well and kept our beer mugs full. The second visit was for dinner. We ordered salad, pasta dishes and a couple pizzas. The food was delicious. I'd definitely return here next time I visit Salzburg.

Creamy Tomato Soup-we sprinkled with fresh Parmesan. Served hot and tasty.

Stopped here for supper after Sunday evening mass with two friends. We had creamy tomato soup too warm us from the outside rainy cold evening. We also split an Hawaii pizza which had 8 big slices on a thin, wood-oven cooked crispy crust. Went well with a glass of wine. Our waitress was a delightful Psychology student with a quick wit and beautiful smile. Great place to enjoy food and friends.

Pizza is huge.. About large size in America for 9.50 euro so be aware

The food wasn't bad. Pizza was pretty good. But service was one of the worst we have had since we been on our trip.. Two order of pizza came out first. Then by the time the kids were done with the pizza then my pasta dish came out. Which wasn't bad. I would venture to say that server had way too many tables then she can handle. I was so annoyed I almost didn't leave any tip. I would not recommend this place.

Great restaurant in the city center tourist area . Fun atmosphere where they serve the menu in Italian, but they will also ask you if you would like a menu in English. The service personnel speak German, but they also speak Italian and English! I ordered the shrimp with gnocchi, and it was so awesome. Just the right portion, not really huge so you are not overstuffing yourself, because it could be really easy with this dish. My husband ordered the porcini mushroom with saffron on tagliatelle noodle. I tasted his and it was very delicious. The service personnel are so nice and make you feel really welcomed in the restaurant. I would recommend getting reservations, since it fills up fast. Great place.

The service was so so, we waited a long time to be served, and we were not served at the same time... We didn't have any water before the end of the lunch. The food was good but it was ruined by the service

    Pizza with pepperoni-salami and basil

We ate here for lunch one day. We liked the restaurant's location close to Mozart's house, so we decided to check this out. The restaurant seemed quite large, and I get the impression they get a lot of tourists in there. Anyway, we ordered a pizza (pepperoni/salami and basil). When it came, I got half the pizza on my plate and my wife got the other half on her plate. Of course, this was a good sized pizza so the pizza went over the edge of the plate. Regardless, we ate it and it was good. I did find the pepperoni/salami to be a bit greasy, but that's common with that particular topping (though I still would have tried to clean it up a little if I were running the place). Overall, we had a good experience here and would go back. I felt we got good value for our money here.

The definition of a neighborhood joint, with only four tables inside, and a few tables outside on the patio, this will rival Little Italy in any major city back in the US. Interior decor is disjointed, but somehow works with the homemade vibe. The chef/owner does it all -- from taking orders, to clearing tables, to prepping and cooking the dishes, to closing out the bill. This place should have been jammed with a wait, so we absolutely lucked out; and if you are in town, you will have to pay a visit. Pesto pasta, and Panini's, and pizzas are all a smash hit. We certainly did not expect this type of vintage Italian food here in Salzburg, but we might have as well have been in Naples. Cash only, so don't let that take you by surprise. Also, no alcohol, but you won't need it because the food is the star of the experience. This is a must-visit if you are staying nearby.

It was really cold and I wanted to just grab some takeaway food to eat back at the hotel. Recalling that this hotel was close-by, I stopped in to get some pasta to go. This restaurant has an inexpensive menu of pasta dishes and pizzas that are under €10. In fact, my spaghetti carbonara was less than €6! While the pasta seemed like the kind you would find at the grocery store, I really enjoyed the dish as the carbonara was nice and creamy plus the pasta was topped with some fresh arugula. The service was also good and patient as I figured out what I wanted to order. If you are looking for some cheap Italian takeaway in Salzburg, this is a good place to get some nice pasta dishes.
