all i have to say is idk. i had called at 6 oclock to see if i could come in that same day in 10-15 mins. i get there at 6:15-6:20. there was 3 girls already there.. not even started mind you they close at 7:30.. RED FLAG. i get told to sit down, soon after the im assuming wife told me to go sit over there. so i did. i waited about 10-15 mins. then the im assuming husband comes over to me.. small talk. puts the nails tips on walks away THEN works on another girl.. while the wife is doing one girl THEN altered and started another girls.. took 40 mins on that girl. then she goes to get her toe nails done. a whole other girl comes out, im assuming the wifes mother and does her toe nails. it took a total of 3 hours to get a simple acrylic french tip. pathetic. dissappointed. paid 62 but was told 72 on the phone. thats how you know the wife had just made up a price. mind u all im not the type to say "this looks bad" "this is crooked". so i gave a 10$ tip aswell. not because i liked my nails or my service, thats just the only cash i could get out the atm. the lady next to me getting her nails done was still there when i left.. the nails dont look terrible on the camera but im real life.. its wonky. read more

I will be going back for a mani and pedi in a few days. I don't get my nails done frequently, but they are my go. I have difficult feet and they always do them well. they are pleasant. sometimes they are more conversational then others times. I like to just sit and relax. I know communicating can be difficult. just think what it's like for them with all of us coming in speaking at different speeds and even different local accents! I give them credit for what they do. the prices are on par with other places. I recommend LP Palmyra. read more

This is the third time I've been to this location. This is the first time I've ever had a little cut on my cuticle from them. He was in a little of a hurry but only towards the end because they started to get slammed. But once again Long Lee came through. He's very sweet and actually talks to me & has my dying of laughter the whole time. I said it before and I'll say it again HAVE LONG LEE DO YOUR NAILS. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. Took my 3 yr old to get her nails done cause she loves being a little princess. Gentleman yelled at her to be careful when looking at colors, then didn't talk to her the whole time he painted her nails. He was grabbing and pulling her arm like she was a 20 yr old who has done this numerous times. Made it a very unpleasant experience for her as she sat there in fear and acted annoyed when she wanted her nails painted different colors, she's 3 buddy that's what kids like. Paid $37 for my manicure and my 3 yr old to get nails painted and my nails look like my daughter painted them, polish below my cuticles and some parts of nail totally missed. Will never go there again and will stick to fancy nails in cleona, great people and wonderful with little girls who like to do things like mom. read more

This place usually is pretty great place to go to get your nails done. Shocked to hear that they were rude to the other customer that posted. Yes they do try to fit as many customers in as possible but all nail joints do that. They may not be as social, but i cant understand what they are saying to me anyways so i prefer no conversation. They half to have over 100 gel nail polishes to choose from. More than any other that I have been to. Great selection. 6 chairs for pedi's but only four workers at all times. This place is priced in line with the rest of them. I paid $45 for gel mani and pedi but no massage and no foot bath! Money well spent. read more

Rude employees, sloppy work: not to be a Debbie Downer, but I just had the worst manicure and pedicure of my life! Everything about being at LP Nails was an all around awful experience. I wanted a pedicure and decided to try LP Nails out because they are the only place in town open on a Sunday. The woman who was doing my pedicure talked me into doing a manicure for $10, which I decided to treat myself to. This is where all the trouble started. At quality nail salons, who are customer-focused and care about providing a relaxing experience, the manicure usually doesn't happen while you're still sitting in the pedicure station. My relaxing experience in the massage chair suddenly became a 3 ring circus! She called a guy over and he threw a towel over my lap, grabbed one hand, threw the other in some soapy water drawn from the pedicure tub, and started working, hardly talking to me the whole time. At one point, he walked away and the lady decided to continue to the manicure while she was doing my pedicure, having me lean forward so she could multi-task -- this is not relaxing. The guy then returned and it started working again, filing my nails into a square shape, which I told them I did not want. He rushed through the rest of the job and kind of wandered away...he sat down to watch the basketball game, blaring from from a 50" flat screen TV (again, not relaxing). The woman who worked on my pedicure did a horrible job -- my cuticles looked ragged and there was nail polish spilling over top of them in all sort of areas. It was a very rushed, sloppy job over all and she was looking at the clock every other minute. She cut my toe nails down to almost nothing so she could perfectly square them off, which is exactly what I asked her not to do upfront. I was really upset when I saw the nail polish spilled on my new flip flops. That's when I decided to say something, and the reaction I got was not what I was expecting. All four employees came over and started insisting that it looked great, but when I started pointing out all the blobs of polish running off the nail and the ragged cuticles, they started fixing them on the spot (if they looked "great", then there would be nothing to fix, right?). A different guy started working on the manicure and did a slightly better job. This is what caused me to throw in the towel and leave: when a different lady came over to fix the pedicure, the original lady who did the sloppy job was clearly smack-talking to everyone around me. I'm unsure as to what she was saying, but she was clearly angry and muttering things under her breath. I tried to tell her politely that I wasn't happy with the services and she wasn't taking it well. I told the lady who was about to repaint my nails that I was ready to leave. I asked if I could have a discount of some sort and the original pedicure lady BLEW UP at me! She said that she had been doing this for 14 years and everybody leaves happy and I am the first one to complain (I doubt this). She continued raising her voice while I forked over my debit card to the woman behind the counter, but I tuned her out. She was saying something about how my feet were "ugly" before I came in the door? Everything she was going on about was from a very angry place inside of her that I don't believe I deserved. The only thing I said was "I'm not coming back here" and that's when she and the desk lady said "Good! Go somewhere else!". Very professional, guys. This all sort of reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld with the soup Nazi...except their product is not desirable, amateur. $37 later and square nubs for nails, I regret this experience. LP Nails is the Holiday Hair of Nail Salons -- get in, get out -- and if that's your thing, go for it. Sure, LP Nails can give you a mani-pedi, but you're going to leave feeling as bad as their works looks if you inject any sort of criticism. I've been going here since I was 17 (I'm 34) and moved out of town, but when I'm back I come here and Sandy always does an amazing job. She even recognized me after 20+ years of being gone. Not sure about the other reviews but she is meticulous and spent close to an hour on my toes. I have issues with ingrowns and she is the best!!! The salon is super clean, as well. read more

Never again will I step foot in this establishment. If you want to over pay [$42 for a gel fill] and have a sloppy manicure this is your ideal location. It's rushed service, multiple people doing your nails, on the phone and just plain sloppy work. They do nothing to add to your experience and have poor customer service. If you come in when it's deserted they will do a great job; however they are under staffed and will start your nails and leave to wait for 30-45 min while they cycle around the room to help other people. So a process that should be relaxing 45 minute manicure will be a stressful waiting game that take 90 minutes to 2 hours. It would have been better to just let us know there was a 90 minute so that we could have gone elsewhere instead of forcing us to sit around and wait for someone to be available. read more

I have been getting pedicures here for years. I get a smile and a "Hello, Anne" when I walk in. Though communication is sparse due to language differences, the pedicures have been great. I will continue to go back to L P Nails. read more
