We only had 3 servers standing beside the food while the guests serve themselves. They arrived at 1:30p and started packing up at 4:30p. The dishes looked pleasant but didn't taste freshly cooked. The Kare kare was mostly dry beef and cabbage. It tasted like it was about to go bad. It had a slight sour taste. Everyone ate but hardly any went back for seconds. We had so much leftover food that got tossed. The guests didn't want to take any of it home. Some of them were forced to take some.

This was the best volunteer appreciation event I've attended (for this particular organization), and I was pleased to hear that Savor Catering has such a good story - helping women get back on their feet.
