We had dinner at La Alhambra de Santo Domingo since this place was recommended in the "Let's Go Travel" as cheaper dining in Madrid. This place specialized in Greek food, and had the spit for the carved meats. There was one person who spoke broken English but he had a hard time understanding what we wanted. We ordered at the front, and then had the food brought over to our table.
Overall, the food was okay. Nothing was very special even though the price was cheaper.
Plato especial (6,90 euros)- Came with shaved chicken and french fries
Plato vegetal (5,20 euros) - Came with falafel, dolma, tabuli salad, hummus, pureed eggplant, and bread. I thought this was okay. This was one of the worse falafels that I've eaten since it was dry and didn't have any flavor. The pureed eggplant also didn't have any flavor.
