The Baie is a huge department store; my favorite counter is Kiehl's. As girls, we know very well the skincare is very important routine in our lives. I went through many many skincare products till I was introduced to Kiehl's last year. I am in love. At the Baie, Loretta who is specialist of Kiehl's counter. She tested my skin, and recommended from face wash to serum to eye cream... and since last year, my skin has been breathing comfortably. Today, I had a full fledged facial by Loretta and my face feels soft as a baby's bum. Love it. I also found out today, Loretta who is responsible of her Kiehl's counter can have a girls' facial day (3-4 girls) and she can even ask one of the makeup department to come over to do a makeover. Overall, I love the Kiehl's counter, and I like this department store, especially when the sales start; they have a great deals if use you HBC MasterCard and the points card.

I shop here often, The Bay has a huge selection of everything you may need. They have some good deals, it depends on what day you go on and when they have sales. I've gotten many good brand items for a bargain. It's not all great however, the staff is never around to help, it's not always well organized and clean, they always try to get you to sign up for the credit card, and the list goes on. If it wasn't for those special days when they are on sale, I probably wouldn't shop here as much. You should also check out the outlets in Mirabel. They don't have as much variety but the deals are better on shoes, clothes, and accessories. My personal favourite is Topshop on the second floor.

Lord & Taylor is my favorite store in NYC so it's only natural that I would like The Bay since they are part of the same company. Came here just to buy a pair of boxer shorts but ended up getting some more shorts and a great shirt. The men's department was great except for the fact that nobody seemed to work there. However, once I found a service desk with a human at it to ring me up, I was good to go. Great location, great prices, wonderful merchandise...I liked it here.

I especially love this location because Place Alexis Nihon also has a Winners, so one stop for 2 of my favourite stores. Truth be told, the Winners and Marshalls here are pretty indistinguishable from each other, lol. Brand names at a discount, what's not to love? I especially like their cosmetics/skincare. I often find brands sold at Sephora for a fraction of the cost. Just beware that the mascaras are sometimes dried up, but I've had good luck with all other make up items. I haven't had much luck with shoes here (ladies size 5 foot here, so not too surprising), and clothes are hit or miss. However, I still love the hunt ;) Review #19 (2025)

If you're tall the jeans here are to short and I'm talking 5'10 and up because I couldn't find any that were long enough :( I did however pick up a mascara that was 3.99 instead of the usual 8 so that's was a plus. I will be back for sure because I gotta find something soon to wear for my bday.

The Longer Version: This location is inside Place Montreal Trust. It's on the most lower level of the mall. Same level as the Food Court. It has the largest selection of luxury brands of all the downtown-ish Winners (more than the Alexis Nihon, Complexe Desjardins and Peel Winners). I spotted an Yves Saint Laurent bag for $2700. They had Gucci shoes, sunglasses and hats. Some Chloe, Ferragamo, and Valentino bags too. And other brands. Their luxury brands are locked up in glass displays so you have to get a staff member to unlock it for you. The contemporary brands like Coach, Michael Kors, Ted Baker, and Kate Spade are out and about for you to handle on your own. This location is large and has a jewelry section and children's clothing and shoes as well (these sections are the first to be cut in the smaller "urban concept" stores, and even though this location is urban it's definitely a full-sized store). It has the usual women's and men's clothing and shoes and housewares. It's also always busy and crowded. So my feelings about it are mixed. I love the size and large selection but I hate the crowds. It's not quite an "urban concept" Winners as the size isn't that small, but it feels tight in there because of the layout. I love Winners as a brand, so I'll always go here when I'm in Montreal, but is it my favourite Winners? No. It's crowded and busy like the one in Place Montreal Trust, but doesn't have the same selection. It is a newer location. I think it only open in 2017, although I realize that newer is relative since as I'm writing this that's 7 years ago. Haha. I consider anything that opened after I left Montreal "newer" but as time goes on, I forget that I left Montreal a very long time ago, lol. It's probably my least favourite of the 4 Winners in the downtown-ish area (Alexis Nihon, Place Montreal Trust, and Peel bring the other 3), but I love Winners so even a bad Winners is still pretty good to me. I'm sharing my experience with SSENSE regarding a returned item…read more I received the item and did not observe any dark or black discoloration at that time. I also never wore or used the item. After I returned it, SSENSE sent me blurry photos showing what they described as dark or black staining and stated that the damage was caused by me. This was confusing, as the condition shown in their photos does not reflect anything I personally observed or caused. Given that the item is made of silk -- a very delicate fabric -- my reasonable assumption is that any discoloration could have occurred during handling, storage, or packaging, including possible transfer from the cardboard materials used in shipping. I approached this situation respectfully and in good faith, but my refund request was denied, with responsibility placed entirely on me. I found this handling disappointing and lacking transparency, especially for a fragile item that was never worn. I'm sharing this feedback so others are aware and in the hope that SSENSE improves how it reviews and resolves return disputes involving delicate materials.
